Thanks to the hard work of Bariah Ishak and her fellow Malaysian whom are the readers of Kickdefella, 20 orphans, single parents and senior citizens are smiling this evening.
Today, Bariah managed to give away 20 hampers consisting of 5 kgs of grain, 3 Kgs of cooking oil, 2 kgs of flour and sugar, biscuits and few other goodies as part of the Ramadan Charity effort. Most of the stuffs are bought using the online donation after her effort being highlighted in this blog.
In honour of those warm hearted Malaysian, YB Salahuddin Ayub, Member of Parliament for Kubang Kerian flew back from KL to help give away those hampers.
Tomorrow, another 40 hampers will be given to the poor and needy in Badang. YB. Dato’ Husam Musa has agreed to organize the event.
Few local Bloggers will also helping Bariah to transport the hampers to the location.
Bariah told Kickdefella, the online donation she received has help to put another extra 30 hampers. Until yesterday, the donation still pouring in.

Heart-warming. Sort of hit me and made me realize that compared to someone like Kak Bariah, I had done too little and expecting too much.
But it always puzzled me why even in the rich state of selangor and wp where they are collecting zakat (tithe) up to RM50M(?) a year, there are still so many people starving and so many kids do not attend school. Pusat zakats do have nice buildings though…

sofia, sama juga di sini.. maik asyik sibuk beli tanah buat bangunan.. tapi.. ujung-ujung nanti dapatlah dekat perempuan nan seorang tuh… macam pasaraya kat sini… dengar-dengar terpaksa ditutup pasal maik ambil balik bangunan tu pasal perempuan nan seorang tu terpikir, kalau buat hotel kat situ.. cantik juga….
Kalau lah Islam dijalankan secara betul mengikut ajaran yang disampaikan oleh Rasul.. Allahuakabar.. tak perlu risau lah masalah kemiskinan ni…
emmm.. InsyaAllah kalau anak die naik, musti keadaan akan berlainan.. jangan risau EL.. Allah SWT duk perati perangai die tuh.. sampai masa, dapat lah die balasannya..

sheih, takde cerita pasal tabung serambi mekah ke? dengar-dengar ada pasangan suami isteri yang sedekahkan dua juta untuk tabung itu.. semuga Allah menambah dan memberkati rezeki mereka berdua.. dan juga penderma-penderma lain, dan kak bariah dan penderma tabung ramadhan ini juga.. amiin.
