This will end as the toughest fight for BN and for Abdul Taib Mahmud, yet it also proves the opposition coalition has fail to play their game right.
Come this Saturday, BN looks likely to retain its two-thirds majority in the Sarawak State Assembly but some predicted with DAP increasing its total representatives too.
If this scenario becomes a reality, it will loom into long-term disaster for PAS and the Malays in PKR. The Sarawak charge will only become an attempt to remove a Muslim leader whom to be replace by a non-Muslim, in an election where PAS has no clear chance to lead. ‘PAS-pact-with-the-devil’ soon will be seen as the anti-Malay and anti-Islam in reality because their action over and again proven in the last 3 years to only benefit the non-Malays DAP and PKR.
PAS game had always been ‘I-know-Islam-better-than-you’ and ‘I-am-holier-than-you’ but nowadays it seems the ‘devil’ has taken the better of them. Promoting the devil to safeguard Islam in Malaysia is a dangerous form of advertising for the Islamic party.
This may also be the clearest sight of the light at the end of the tunnel for BN.
This win in Sarawak, shall be an endorsement by the Sarawakians for Prime Minister Najib Razak, whom is highly popular here. Definitely, this is the tonic Najib needs for the coming General Election.
Sheih,
Tuan,
In so far as I have read in blogs, msm and alternative, it does look that BN is facing a tough battle.
I do hope you will be spot on.
Even though East Malaysian politics differ very much from Peninsular, I cannot comment, more so being over here.
That being said, I WILL reserve a comment until after the elections, the outcome in the urban areas.
All the best to your good self and the BN in Sarawak.
Thank you
Freddie
I concur with Freddie. We, being over here in Peninsular, only have blogs, MSN news etc to get info on campaign development of BN and PR.
So, might as well reserve the comments after the polling day.
Then, we shall see the updated signs on the race for Putrajaya.
pok seh,
the trouble with people like you is this.
you don’t care if the leader is a bastard as long as they are malays.
you’re just another classic umno racist.
Just one thing: does it really matter to anyone that whether our (note: Sarawakians) upcoming CM (when Taib finally stepped down) is a non-muslim or not? *throw hand in exasperation*
Sheih said: With DAP and PKR, Sure it matters a lot bro. Surely you will not agree with me though.
salam sheih
sheih saja-saja nak tanya 1,2 soalan, sudi kiranya dijawab:
salam,
I don’t mind if the new CM is non-malay and non-muslim. Taib is a Malay muslim but he failed when is a corrupt. I wish the best for Sarawak, but then I begin to have a feeling that the Bumiputera’s power (Melanau, Iban, Bajau and etc) will not be protected fairly as the Sarawak’s and Sabah’s politic begin to have a similar look as politics in the Semenanjung…the competition between the Malays and Chinese, not between Malays and other Bumiputera group. If PR gets Sarawak, my advice to the Sarawakians, please be concern of other Bumiputera ethnic group eg. Melanau, Bajau, Iban and also Malay.
….and the winner is…BN.
This “greenbottle” is truly an outlaw of malay bastard. He doesn’t what he’s talking. You’re calling UMNO a racist party..since when though.I think DAP is truly a racist party.I am not sure whether “greenbottle” is also another racist but looking at what he says,he’s certainly is.
Carry on Pak Sheikh..pls keep us updated.
Don’t you have any conscience and pity to the native Sarawakians? do not pretend not to know the mountains of indisputable evidence of corruption and wealth of the Taib Family, of the enormous wealth and assets overseas, the sufferings of the natives for 30 years under Taib rule. As long as he is Muslim that does not matter? what kind of Islam is that? I thought as a Muslim we should fight against tyranny and oppressions.
Of course that does not matter right? as long as he is with umnoBN. No matter, no amount of spinning and fake feel good write-up is going to change the result, umnoBN and supporters will get the shock of their lives when the result is announced, just you all wait 🙂
My 2 sen:
1) Major towns to be won 65% of the seats by PR
2) Small towns and outskirt 50-50
3) Remote areas to be won by BN 80% of the seats.
BN parties still have another 5 years to plunder my Motherland, but PR will increase seats to more than 18.
Stay tuned.
