Bakaq Haq of the famous Penarik Beca blog was arrested last night at his home in Greenwood Park, Gombak. According to his wife, 4 police personnel picked Bakaq and his laptop around 11 pm.
Around 12.30 am, Wan Joe of JiwoKelate confirmed that Bakaq is in custody at The Commercial Crime Building in Kuala Lumpur. His lawyer, Hanifah Maidin who is also PAS legal adviser confirmed that Bakaq’s arrest was done under the Sedition Act.
Bakaq or his real name is Abdul Rashid Abu Bakar has contributed a lot in revealing the hidden agenda of the infamous Muzakarah between PAS and UMNO. It is so damaging that the Deputy President of PAS, Nasharuddin Mat Isa has made a threat to sue him although later it was proven that much of what Bakaq has revealed is true.
Bakaq is not a member of any political Party but a stern supporter of PAS’s Constitution to form an Islamic Government that shall be fair to all races.
Bloggers and friends of Penarik Beca will gather at Commercial Crime Building near Bank Negara Malaysia at 2 pm today to give morale support to Bakaq.

Nasharudin Mat Isa should resign from PAS and join UMNO. He has lost all dignity and we no longer appreciate him. He is a coward, very sleazy and cheated PAS by betraying comrades in Pakatan who have influneced Malaysians to vote against UMNO and for PAS. If he thinks he is so important (ala Ezam the double faced snake), then like Ezam, he should join the ranks of Dollah and leave us alone.

I know Bakaq personally and we get along very well, despite that we have adverse political and ideological beliefs. However, we agree on many common grounds. Yes, he is a good person in nature. Strongly opinionated and yet humble.
I hope he is treated well under Police custody. If he had done something wrong, then they should do the right thing by giving him the full due process; properly, by the books and gentlemanly.
Otherwise, they should let him go.
I pray for his well being.

I had given it a thought and though the upside down flag really meant a Nation in distress, our general public still perceives it as desecreting our Jalur Gemilang. I’m sure Bakaq wouldn’t want us to give the wrong impression of our message and solidarity with saudara bakaq in this way.
I had reinstitute our national flag as it is to stop the wrong impression we, bloggers have been getting. Do not give the wolves at the gate(you-know-who) reasons to tarnish the blogosphere.
Outrage as I am at the current situation, I still hope there are other means we could help Saudara Bakaq in sending the message without infuriating fellow countrymen into thinking we’re disrespecting the national flag.
Let me reiterate again, we stand by our message of this nation under distress because of rampant abuse of law enforcement as political tool of the ruling repressive regime to cow the propagation of truth and facts by bloggers and the rakyat.

No reason why he was arrested was given by Sheikh Azidi of Kickdefella yesterday. I was misjudged he was arrested because of the political reasons. If he defaced the Royal Malaysia Police logo by replacing the tiger symbol with a barking dog, let him be in jail. He is not worth to be a Malaysian. I’m not with you anymore, Bakaq Haq.

Don’t blame Nasharuddin, although he had much involved in the infamous Muzakarah, but I think he is the ‘black goat’ in PAS. He would not involve in this Muzakarah accept there is an order with collective decision from the higher post. This thing should not be mention anymore. It is over. I still have faith in him.
Although I don’t know much about PAS, but I think the PAS President (Haji Hadi) must keep a distance with his ‘circle’ so called ‘close friends’, they are destroying him.
Regarding the Penarik Beca, we must stay clear that we are fighting with Musa Hassan (IGP), not the entire police forces. Most police are good people. I have my fully support for Anwar to raise the police salaries, benefits, and reorganize the police forces. No more politics. Stop the ‘Penyelewengan Ketua Polis Negara’.

|Nota Kecil| Situasi yang kian meruncing mendesak Tuan Guru Hj. Abdul Hadi Awang kembali ke tanah air lebih awal dari jadual asalnya.
Tindakan Presiden PAS itu dikatakan kerana rungutan Timbalannya, Nasharuddin Mat Isa.
Nasharuddin merungut diburu media-media arus perdana dan beberapa veteran PAS ekoran sokongan terbukanya ke atas Kerajaan Perpaduan versi Najib.
Mstar melaporkan Hj. Hadi pulang semalam dan terus ke rumah Nasharuddin.
Banyak juga wartawan-wartawan berhimpun di luar perkarangan banglo Nasharuddin, di Bukit Mahkota.
Chegu Pa dilihat datang kemudian dan tergesa-gesa masuk ke kediaman mewah itu ketika diserbu wartawan.
Dalam pertemuan itu juga, Hj. Hadi memberi jaminan untuk menjelaskan apa yang perlu kepada ahli-ahli mesyuarat Pakatan Rakyat yang dijadualkan tengah hari ini di Parlimen.
Dikatakan pertemuan enam mata itu ada kaitannya dengan Mesyuarat Ukhwah anjuran Dato’ Tuan Guru Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat di Rumah Kelantan jam petang ini.
Chegu Pa mahu mendapat kepastian daripada Nasharuddin tentang persefahamannya dengan Mursyidul Am PAS itu.
Pertemuan lebih 2 jam itu nampaknya tidak menemukan jalan keluar.
Chegu Pa menggesa Nasharuddin menjelaskan mengapa Timbalan Presiden itu menghilangkan diri beberapa hari lalu, tetapi Timbalan Presiden PAS itu enggan menjelaskannya.
Chegu Pa ketika diserbu wartawan kemudiannya, menjelaskan sedemikian.
“Tiada agenda khusus mesyuarat hari ini, mesyuarat biasa saja,” helah Setiausaha Agong itu.
Pertemuan enam mata antara Nik Aziz, Hj. Hadi dan Nasharuddin secara tertutup petang ini tidak dapat dielakkan lagi
Paling bimbang adalah Chegu Pa kerana dia tidak tahu inti perbincangan.
Beberapa sangkaannya terhadap Nasharuddin tidak juga selesai walaupun sudah bertemu mata dengan Timbalan Presiden itu.
Chegu Pa mungkin tidak yakin bahawa penjelasannya selama 2 jam di Bukit Mahkota itu mampu mengukuhkan kepercayaan Hj. Hadi kepada dirinya.
Hari ini Nik Aziz tentu akan berkata sesuatu, yang sudah tentu akan membuka pekongnya lagi.
Dilaporkan juga, jam 1 petang ini akan diadakan Mesyuarat Majlis Pakatan Rakyat di Tingkat 14 Parlimen.
Mesyuarat itu dijangkakan akan berbincang dari hati ke hati antara Presiden PAS dan Timbalannya bersama-sama pemimpin Pakatan Rakyat yang lain.
Pakatan akan mengadakan mesyuarat hari ini… saya selaku Setiausaha Agung akan hadir,” kata Mustafa tetapi tidak menyatakan agenda khusus mesyuarat Pakatan Rakyat itu.
Adakah Chegu Pa berdusta lagi kepada media dan ahli-ahli PAS seluruh Malaysia?
Sumber dalaman Tingkat 14 Parlimen menjelaskan bahawa nama Chegu Pa tidak ada dalam senarai jemputan.
Sama ada Setiausaha Agong PAS itu dusta atau tidak, masih belum dapat dipastikan.
Adakah pertemuan 6 mata di Rumah Kelantan petang ini akan terus membuatkan Chegu Pa bertambah runsing?
