I urge all the patriot of Malaysia to boycott sheih’s blog as long as he is continuing with his misguided upside down flag idea that does more harm than good. delete it off your bookmark. delete also those blog nyamuk that trying to be hip by jumping into the bandwagon. Show your love for the Jalur Gemilang, fly it high, fly it the only acceptable way, the right way. For King and Country!
there are many ways to show our dissatisfaction with the current state of our country now.but to hoist the flag upside down?certainly a no go for me.i believe many other Malaysians feels the same way as me.
TO THOSE WHO AGAINST THE CAMPAIGN, I GUESS YOU PEOPLE MUST BE EMPLOYEES, PENSIONERS, OR I DON’T LIKE TO SAY THIS …. GOV’T SERVANTS, WHO JUST BY EVERY END OF THE MONTH YOU GOT YOUR SALARY. NEVER KNEW THAT THE NATION IS GOING DOWNHILL AND DON’T KNOW WHATS HAPPENING.
LIKE …… READ SOMEWHERE, EVEN THERE ARE ZIMBABWEANS WHO STILL THINK THEIR ECONOMY IS STRONG. …. ARE YOU?
THIS IS THE HIGHEST FORM OF PATRIOTISM. I LOVE THE NATION!!!!!
tapi berkongsi “cara” dia untuk menukkan rasa kekecewaan itu,no thank you!.
dannalli,
you speak about patriotism, the how our forefathers who have died defending the integrity of the flag and the honour of our country?aint that patriotic enough for you?
FrancisJeffers,………”apa kata u?”
I tak kata apa. I tak tersilap tulis. Bukan barangan US tapi US…
What can we gain from doing so?
Attention? Respect?
Our country is currently the laugh stock around the world as it is
and you want to add another kilo of salt to the wound?
well, so much for standing together to defend the honour of our country.
Bravo fraidy!!
You stayed back and exposed cunning ..selfish..racialist…political bloggers!!
Nation is not in distress.
UMNO is. Flying flag upside down….is supporting UMNO.
And Malaysians should not try to be to smart..to say the nation is in distress.
Nation have never experience so much People’s Power …not since People’s Power led by Anwar….captured 5 States.
Just look at events after the election.
Creating fears….provocations…and now…trying to confuse Malaysians.
These are the signs..UMNO and their die hard members are feeling insecured…distressful….not majority Malaysians.
And once in a while…you do get a blog owner so call man …without principles in life……an idiot…not even a UMNO member at all….to support this ….just for personal likes and dislikes..hoping to gain favors and even be favored upon.
Ramai orang Malaysia kat sini macam pentingkan simbol aje.
Kalo you sedih tengok bendera tunggang langgang, tapi tak kisah sangat bila negara kita porak peranda, baik you tanya diri sendiri mana yang lebih besar prioritinya?
Orang Melayu banyak bercakap tentang NIAT.
Menteri RY has missed the point …. IT IS the NATION IS IN DISTRESS.
On the issue of who we are not in favour, we have long ago spelt it out. It’s AAB …. it remains that the sooner he goes out the better, and this has been made known. The issue on flag is ….. MALAYSIA IS IN DISTRESS, SIR.
we have no intention to disgrace or disrespect the country by flying the jalur gemilang upside down. but my question to those which oppose is; wat greatness n dignity we have left being malaysians these days to live like pawns for these so called leaders by adoring the gemilangness of the flag when the nation is destroying itself? its just a flag in the end if the cause is lost.
look at what our nation have came to? wat pride is there left in this land when it comes to upholding the dignity & respect for our country? whats there to feel glad about the flag when the country its representing is upside down? ppl may like to say that we are exagerrating or blowing the current crisis out of propotion and giving it out more distress than she deserve. but to me, i love our nation enough to feel that the nation have been raped enough because of negligence of responsible parties and i cant whistle away n move to australia or malta!
like a ship our beloved country is sinking in the hands of our own fellowmen. we need to save this sinking ship. we need to rally those who still are willing to think n sacrifice. we need to show those who can make a change at the top that this time we cant be brushed aside n ignored like before. and we need to rally every malaysian for the sake of our children n for the sake of our ancestors which toiled to build this once beautiful nation.
the magnitude of the crisis now is so significant that it is not a local isolated issue, its not a state issue, some prison issue like that movie flick ‘the last castle’ or about some soldiers fighting and dying at some borders. it is more than that, cos now we have all to lose if we let this one slide, not just a group of soldiers dying, losing a prison or a combat hill but a whole nation n saving this nation at her darkest hour!
we need to have a form of panic button to alert everyone. our nation is upside down. its time to let the nation know that this ship is already sinking. i am not going to jump ship or abandon her. if she sinks i sink with her, but before that, i still think that the situation is dire enough for such a strong loud move to be made. someone need to send a strong signal to raise that panic alarm to the rakyat in every corner of the nation before its too late.
this country doesnt belong to me alone or any single individual but everything which grows n exists on this soils now n before is the country. if everything around us is what makes Malaysia, then now since everything now is upside down, how about the flag which represents our once proud nation? how about the rest of Malaysia on the east which have been living under media blackout under the BN leadership all these years? i think they deserve to know like u n i do about what have became of our nation. we need to be able to agree on this fully for that objective to be achieved. we as individual malaysians need to take part n help raise awareness of wat we see to the rest which are not as fortunate as us. an icon which represents the country, the frustration of the rakyat and as a distress call for all living malaysians couldnt come at a better time than now. dont wait for others or what so ever to do that job, its our country, not theirs alone. lets share this burden of responsibility n blame for a a better tomorrow. we have no one else but us alone to blame if this country fall.
truth is, malaysians are born not to be outspoken due to our corruptible gov, and they can’t accept criticsm as well… if someone speak out their mind over an issue, all they can say is that “this issue should not be something to talk about” for example the religion issue recently about the non-muslim to convert… i just feel that they can’t handle issue in a professional way. i feel sad to be a malaysian, the whole world knows what is happening in malaysia, and it is very embarrassing to be a malaysian… sigh

Seem like there are strong reactions. Good to get people to think sometimes.
Flag in mourning is ok.
Flag on coffin is ok.
But, flag on distress cry is not ok.
How ironic.
Jeffripower, kalau nak boikot barangan, kenapa you masih boleh post comment kat sini???
kalau u guna microsoft -> barangan US …intel processor -> barangan US… apple -> barangan US… HDD u -> kemungkinan besar brand US jugak… apa kata u?

Is this a flag on Badawi’s shirt when he was visiting the LRT? Is it flying the correct way up?
