All the years as UMNO man loyal to Tun Dr Mahathir, I have never been to any demostration or street protest. Finally today, my eyes felt the pain, my mouth sore and my skin was burning. Few times I had to lean down and few times some of the protester help me to get back on my foot. Few times I lost my direction and confuse, and few times, the Police Officer and Personnel help me regain my composure.
As a Malaysian, I believe the only thing that was broken today was my camera lens. Kaput!.
But who cares.
Daulat Tuanku!
I was with the Kelantan…Trengganu and Kedah group assembled at Sogo.
When walk started….raining heavily all the way.
I walked to the National Mosque….rested for one hour…and saw the rally keep coming back in circles.
At Kampong Attap Rd…..another different crowd.
It was a wonderful feeling for me…to be part of a wonderful Malaysians.
Nothing happen to me.
Went home …bathe and slept until now.
my gosh ! what happen ? what’s going on ? just watch the 8 pm news at tv3. the police says nothing serious.. but the news didn’t show anything.. U ok Sheih ?

Salam
I walked and I walked proudly to The Istana. Daulat Tuanku.
Ramli AR.
wow, dats great..
can i take some of these pics?
Sheih said : sure its public property if it is use for good reason. But if the police want to use it for identification purposes, they need to speak to my lawyer first.
Nice pictures!
Salam Sheih,
I’m sorry to note what happened to you. Though webtv8 covered the rally (to be screened later), we were at Masjid Negara. And when the processions from other various points marched passed, the group in Masjid Negara rushed out to join.
InsyAllah, this will be the new beginning for Malaysia – a truly fair and free election for generations to come!
hahahahhahahaha… now the government afarid of its own people… salute you all….!
Sheih,
I care because your camera lense is also our eyes, I care because this is also our country. So I marched.

Sounds awfully fun mate. Really missed those Anwar-Days.
I woke up late due to my fever and missed the whole action as I was stuck in a traffic jam for hours.
I’m glad that it didn’t turn out as bad as the Anwar-Days. This is actually a good sign for Malaysian democracy.
For some personal reason I choose not to participate in this one…..however i can report that the gridlock on all roads leading to the city was terrible. It was just to stall the pace and not to arrest anyone on site. The police manning the various roadblocks…I passed 3 of them all had the officers chatting, fiddling with their cellular phones or smoking at the side.
Menyusahkan orang je. Mkn gaji buta dan tak berdisiplin.
YES brother…certainly DAULAT TUANKU~!!!

We have to BERSIH-kan Malaysia
Around 20+ gathered peacefully in front of Msia Hall/MSD London earlier this afternoon. It went smoothly for about 2 hrs from 2-4pm (as the police permit stipulated).
Kudos to my dear friend, WS, who has been a one-man-show on every Saturday there for the past weeks.
Will write more. (+ footage on youtube in due course).
Well, maybe now you have a better excuse for the D300.. hehehe
Sheih, mung amik gambo pakai Nikong compact camera je nih? Great stuff man. D300? Better D200 since dah jatuh rega since 300 came out.Too bad I’m out of the country now.. wish I could’ve been with you brave and noble souls.
I am grateful to God that the March was relatively peaceful. I’m glad to hit the blogs with the latest stories. Seems there’s some sort of a news black-out on the event in mainstream papers…
i was at the masjid jamek and you can’t really get through from there……but my heart sunk when i heard the news that Sultan Mizan was in trengganu for some horse riding competition or something….
looks like he didn’t care tho……sob..sob..sob…
CONGRATULATION to all Malaysian who r involved directly or indirectly for this mass rally..I’m very proud of each and everyone of u guys. I’m proud to be a Malaysian. Although i’m not in Malaysia (+5 hours time different), i was followed this event closely since the beginning of it announced till the yesterday historical moment. I woke-up early yesterday and confined myself just inside the hotel watching Al-Jazeera, don’t want to miss this historical moment..
TAHNIAH Al-Jazerra, you have done a good job..ur wartawan yg buat lintas langsung pon terpaksa mandi aur water canon…what a great experience..lintas langsung dari sudut yg tepat..salute to Jeff Oi for his interview with Al-Jazeera..nampak rileks je, jawapan pon tepat dan padat…giving a good image how matured our Malaysian Nations is..from this moment, i feel really proud to be Malaysian as all over the world were watching us…even i was invited all my foreigners friends to gathered in my room to shared this moment and show to them how proud i’m to be a Malaysian…UNTIL…
Damm it…UNTIL…the life phone conference antara Al-Jazeera dgn our famous menteri penerangan..what a shame..i cannot stand myself..gelak sakan sampai tergolek…dimanakah standard seorang menteri penerangan MALAYSIA…cakap english berterabur..penuh emosi yg tak terkawal..boleh plak tuduh Al-Jazeera buat liputan x fair..x memihak pada government..WTH…jgn nak men’RTM’kan Al-Jazeera la..i think Zam ni idup dlm lingkungan dunia dia sendiri kot..mcm karak bawah tempurung..hanya ingat RTM is the best dan yg paling adil kat dunia ni..
REALLY this interview rosakkan my mood on that day..lastly, x tahan sgt, i pakai baju t-shirt kuning, and walked all over the street…dgn bangganya mendeclare diri as one and only one BERSIH participant in the whole country..:)
MALAYSIA BOLEH!!..YES MALAYSIA MEMANG BOLEH…SO JANGAN CUBA MENCABAR, BANGSA MALAYSIA MEMANG PANTANG DICABAR..

Congratulations Sheikh! Nice Picture. Go to hell UMNO.
sorry guys, i can’t join the crowds.. but congratulations to all of the planner of tactical movement.. maybe u guys already planned it well to divert the focus of FRU & POLICE..
now we focus for the GE caimpaigning to the rakyat..
Last night TV3 buletin utama said.. 4000police were all over the place, doing roadblock & everything they can think of.. how come in tabloid paper says only 4000 people.. come on pictures tell thousand words..
Aku tak memihak mana-mana tapi teringin nak tengok apa kesudahannya apabila masing-masing pakat turun ke jalan raya, masing-masing sokong kumpulan masing-masing,
Melalui gambar2 (termasuk site lain) rumusan saya PAS telah contribute alot to this event.
Be Cool .
Do the right things first and do the first thing right.
Selamat berjuang Bangsa Malaysia.
Salam Perjuangan.
Dear malaysians I love you. 10th November 2007 had proved to the world that malaysians are peace loving people. 90% were malays participated in the peaceful walk. Do you know how important was the message to the non-malays of Malaysia? The message is all Malaysians are against the ruling party of Malaysia, there wasn’t any racial issue as always cliamed by the UMNOputra.
In the future if there is any street protest, dear malaysians get ready a goggle to protect your eyes from tear gas, and a N95 mask may minimise the inhalation of the gas. Thank you to all those malaysians who participated in the peaceful gathering.
It seems that democracy its started to blooming in Malaysia, cheers from Indonesia.

WHATS GOIN ON IN malaysia???
peace country… peace world
whats goin on in MALAYSIA??
This day marks a turning point in the history of Malaysia. Do WE, the ANAK BANGSA MALAYSIA, let it fade into obscurity? Or shall we continue to rewrite history until even the blind and the deaf shall be FORCED to take notice?
Continue on! Let this be the beginning of the movement for clean elections, ICPMC, unbiased education, a balanced media, a transparent parliament, and a non-racial government.
Malaysia’s citizens have woken. It’s time for the big push!
Banyak duit nak kuar tu. Kena tunggu la time pilihanraya nanti sebab sekarang tgh kumpul duit lagi nih. PRU nanti baru rela habiskan duit untuk penyokong kerajaan.
No money no kerja la brader.
anyway, great pictures bro…
Cadangan utk setiap rakyat memakai Kuning pada setiap hari Sabtu utk memperingati kejayaan perhimpunan 10/11/07 menyerah memo kepada YDP Agong .
DAULAT TUANKU
40,000 march shouting “Daulat Tuanku” and demanding clean elections….not representing any political parties….a historical day..YET….Straits Times did not put out any news….Star is so hypocritical to put out a short write up.
Both are shit papers…and Editors must be very proud of their no balls..no democratic..no freedom of speech papers. Democracies is truly dead from these papers. They may as well say they are advertising agents for UMNO and MCA political parties. Tell the truths and atop being hypocritical.
We stood for hours and walked through pouring rain non stop…40,000 of us Malaysians…yet not headline news??
If 40 of UMNO guys shouting and talking cock…you will find them with pages of write ups.
Pak Lah and his UMNO and BN can bluff the whole country with shut up news….but 40,000 and much much more will dare to die for the country to see democracy return to the country and our King is loved and respected by all Malaysians. It would have been at least double the amount…if the roads are not blocked and frustratwe so many to give up.
Yes …under Pak Lah is infact….worst than Mahathir….so said TDM….but we have enough of UMNO’s sickening high handed low down twists and turns and bluffing the whole country with their massive corruptions.
Even my parents died….I did not walk or stood so long for their funerals….and no regrets.
I have never stood at pouring rain soaking wet for more than an hour..no umbrella.
All besides me…also went through the ordeal….never fear..never feel the pains ..just keep on walking.
Sheih sms me to be careful…and here I read of his sufferings…but from one walker to another…no sympathy…but great admirations and surely he and me will do it again….if needed.
UMNO can shut off the real the news…and make the 40,000 of us much much more stronger with determinations to fight corruptions and UMNO ministers..all the way..from the ballot boxes to more rallies. As long as I can walk….you can count me in for future rallies.
Join the club, Sheih. Saya dan anak-anak pun terperangkap di Mesjid Jamek for a couple of hours. Kenyang sedut asap tear gas. My youngest son of 11 years old almost fainted drowned in the smoke. How proud I am to see him waddle thru the smog gasping but never gave up. There are hope for us Malaysians. We can do it for the good of our country. It shows that we can be united even without Barisan Nasional. Kudos to BERSIH organisers and not forgetting Unit Amal from PAS for braving themselves upfront despite of all odds in order to maintain crowd control. And finally, tahniah seluruh rakyat Malaysia. I”m really proud to be Malaysian today.
For more story and photos see http://www.anakbapa.blogspot.com
caya lah semua…….teruskan perjuangan !!!
We wish that we were there.
We are very proud of you all. Well done!!
Why not continue in every state. One state every month. A trully monthly Bersih demonstration/rally/peaceful walk which end up with the memorandum to the Sultan and Yang diPertuan Besar.
I think this is the time for the umnos to stop manupulating ‘Institusi Raja’ – (for adat and agama only like the british did to us before).
hrmmmm its not our culture go to street n demonstrate hope its not happen again
Please go to Malaysiakita for photos links. Scroll down to “Historic Moments” below the blue ad. Thank you.
Teruskan perjuangan
Demokrasi harus ditegakkan
Tirani harus diruntuhkan.
-Salam-
Reza/jurnalis/blogger Indonesia
Sdr Melayujati
Saya tidak faham asas perjuangan saudara. Mungkin saudara sangka kalau membela melayu walaupun atas dasar kezaliman, kita mendapat pahala? Saya ingin mengingatkan saudara hadis Rasulullah SAW seperti berikut:
Riwayat Muslim, Abu Dawud dan al-Nasa’i.
Kenapa ramai melayu…
senang saja nak menjawab…
Mohamad Faizal…..Stuff your logic to your asshole!!
What do you mean not our culture to go to the streets.
What culture are you talking about….Malaysians or Malay?
Open your eyes to the truths and stop talking like an UMNO man.
If we don’t take to the streets…do we keep quiet…let UMNO do as they like…wait for election time…and meanwhile…all Malaysian TVs …S.Times and Star can keep on advertising how good UMNO is? Is that what you want?
Are you not ashame of yourself taling like that.
Sheih,
Congratulations to all the organisers & participants on 10-11 including you. A successful mission & a historical day that was…..great pictures ! Keep up your great blogging, bro.

In reference to “My Country Malaysia”‘s comment : “Do you know how important was the message to the non-malays of Malaysia?”
What message would that be? Are you implying that only 10% of non-malays care about the fate of our country and that the rest of us are just sitting on our laurels while you fight the fight of justice and bring our country to where it stands today? Your sentence is already lined with racism. You speak of a multi-racial country living in harmony but it is remarks such as yours that threaten the already delicate balance of it. think before you put them into words. it would save a lot of people a lot of heartache and pain.
Thank you el for saying it…
I dont usually agree with amrozi either but the truth hurts. I was in masjid jamek and looked at the people around me. Mostly malays… well, I would say more then 80%. And quietly I asked myself, where are those people who were screaming and complaining endlessly for being discriminated against, bla, bla, bla… Ironically, the very race they had belittled, criticized and made fun of were there to fight for everybody’s cause. Come on…
I guess, at the end of the day, its too much to risk the big house, the big screen tv, the big car and the big wife…
Monty, at your age, I respect you for walking your talk.
I am so proud to be a malaysian, altough i did not go there, i have never felt more close to my malay , chinese brothers , this is true unity , I am proud to be a “bangsa Malaysia” Daulat Tuanku, 10-11 the most important day in our generations history,
I have always stayed away from politics, but now i feel a strong urge to register to vote and cast my vote for the future of all malay , chinese , indian , and all other BANGSA MALAYSIA children. Daulat Tuanku as i am truly proud to be a malaysian today……..
Dearest Jean,
This is the second time I commented on Sheih’s Blog. The first was when I wished MB Happy Birthday. Now is the second, just for you.
Did you watch the show ‘The Lord of the Rings – The Return of the King’? In this episode, the Elves were shown leaving the Middle Kingdom for another place. The Chinese and the other minority races in Malaysia are not dissimilar to the elves in their dilemma and that is the inconvenient truth. After decades, if not centuries, of disappointment and betrayal, there is not much trust or hope anymore. Many are leaving and the population will not increase in any coming future. Those that stay will eventually assimilate into the ‘Malayness’ culture like the rest of our neighbour. Take a good look at UMNO facial makeup itself. The 10th March and more that are to come will not be about protecting the minorities politician rights. It is about preserving the majority rights of the common people and hopefully, the remnant of our vast cultural heritages. You have got to stop looking at the color of the faces standing beside you. Be thankful for the few elves that stay behind to stand alongside you. Remember what susan blogged about judging others who cannot make it for Bersih? Is this a racial comment? I really don’t know anymore. Don’t turn it into a Malay fighting Malay thingy. You are much wiser than that. It is about politicians who are taking away your rights to vote decisively. Cheer. Be happy.
jean,
Akhir ceritanya apa?
Takut? atau u all go 1st lah we come later to pick u all up?
jeancumlately ,
Pls dont be too judgmental about the DLL M’sians.
For a start I was there as A DLL M’sian & I’m a 3rd generation non Malay, non Muslim M’sian.
We all play our part in our very own ways. History was & will alway be re-writen by small group of people in their unique ways, besides the shouts of the catalystic crowds!!
Forget about the histrionics, let’s look at facts – 0k? & I’m NOT here to defends the true ‘sitting herd’ of any races!
– Malay form the largest grouping in the composition of M’sia. thus in any common event the number of Malay vis-a-vis the number of DLL will be obvious. We should look at the % of participation here to get a true picture!
– the intimidations fed to the DLL M’sians. Most of the DLL M’sians know deep in their heart when the shouts turn into pushes THEY will be the hardest hit physically & politically by the authority to be. So the FEARS are more than the Malay can understand!
– The number of non Malay ‘give-uppers’ far out-weight the number of Malay ‘give-upper’. Thus in % term Many just dont be bothered. After all they have given up long ago!
– Lack of charisma leader(s) among the DLL M’sian. Those who have strong political conviction & leadership have left long ago, knowing staying will be a dead end job in their life time!
– Lastly why are you ranting about the small number of DLL participants? Why are you still have to put actions within the confinement of race? Cant we just talk about M;sian as a whole? You’re playing to the tune of the bigots AND it’ll be used – believing me!
Daulat Tuaku!
Sheih bro u left u the ‘n’ in Tuanku?
if is error pls update it out of respect
if it means you are getting old Tua-ku then ok leave it hahahahaha!
For those of you bringing up the racial differences. Please stop. We are all one Bangsa Malaysia. The cause was for a free and clean elections. Nothing to do with race. Let’s not fall the governments game and profile Malaysians into different races. I am Malaysian. Nothing more, nothing less, and proud of it!
jeancumlately…I was looking for you…as ladies were walking in groups at the last of the crowds.
Yes..In all rallies…you can expect at least 80% Malays….not that they are more patriotic than other races…but the truths is they are split up into have and have not…been split into three groups..by way of life through race and religion politics and by Malay politicians themselves…..thinking it is most uneducated race of their kind they can hook wink and sinker all these 50 years.
Remember….Chinese never depend on government aids…and are smart voters.
YES!!….Those who bla bla bla here…be it any race…that never walk the talk …when they can…where are they…jean?
And Pak Lah said the walkers are high-jacking the King into politics. He has learn the art to talk dirty …quite well too.
People are politics..and politics is people…and the King is there because of the people. Pak Lah is afraid that our King will be like Thai KING!!!
Memorandum already received by King’s representative…..meaning King acknowledged our walk….period!!
koken
Umm excuse me… hello?…the King was horse riding in Trengganu. How embarassing is that for you people? And the PM went to a Raya open house and not biting his nails quivering in Putrajaya. For many years you people couldn’t care less about king and country and anything malaysian suddenly all of a sudden it’s Daulat Tuanku and long live the King? For years you all don’t stand up to sing the NegaraKu suddenly it’s ‘I love being a Malaysian’?
Please lah. Don’t pretend to represent all Malaysians. Most M’sians are tired of you people. Especially those of us who got stuck in traffic jams for hours and wasted a day because of you disgruntled people. We don’t blame the police. We blame you Bersih supporters. ( and most of you don’t even dare wear that yellow shirt…berani konon…lol)
if peace walk/rally/ demonstration is not our culture so the ‘rasuah’ and cheating in election are our culture.. eh?
I don’t think jeancumlately is talking like a racialist..but merely pointed out the % as a record….and he pointed out many who talk alot…but did not walk…is correct.
Whispering 9 gave his reasons for others that did not walk….and it is for all to read to agree or disagree.
Finally…roly writer..tell your story to the marines. You are very selfish and a coward with a big mouth.
Like to read Mohamad Fizal…response to victoria 5.23pm comment.
Yes..Amrozi writer..we agree…but UMNO is getting from bad to worst…to downright..a if they own the country..do as they like… and Royalties have no powers nor influences to Malaysians…and Malaysians are their slaves…powerless too.
Is it wrong to try another leadership from opposition side for once?
If we keep on talking that all politicians are dirty in Malaysia…this means you agree UMNO should rule forever?
Go…THINK….for the country…the people and not for yourself.
Move forward for a better Malaysia. We all already learned from the past mistakes. NO more RASUAH@ UMNO’s culture and their ISLAMIC make up.
MY VOTES ARE ONLY FOR THE BEST AND ‘BERSIH’ CANDIDATES!!
good onelah gagak hitam.

“Tapi yang peliknya, para member gua yang sibuk mengajak gua pi bukannya stok yang sensitif dengan perkembangan politik negara selama ini. Gua pun tak tau mana urat mereka yang salah tu….”
roly,
the principle of democracy is that all citizens have equal political rights.
its about having the right to take action and express your views.
if you don’t practice your right, you should not complain that others doing it.
Perhaps, I was a bit too hard on jean when I asked her not to see the color of faces. According to the poem below, I may be full of it myself. Just like standing under the sun. It is dawn when I stand east but dusk when I stand west. Different place gives different setting. Sorry, if I hurt jean feeling. I think I may be right there and wrong here. Here is a nice poem dedicated to jeancumlately because she saw colors in sincerity and not like me, in hypocrisy. Hopefully, the future will prove me wrong and she is right.
Behind the Color Blind
By Nordette Adams
You say you see no color.
I say you’re full of it!*
I hope when you look at me
you see black a little bit,
for when you say you see me
how can that really be
when part of who I am
is my ethnicity?
I like my hair, my skin tone,
I like my heritage;
It influences my art
enriches how I live.
I like your hair and color
and even your eyes too,
one of my favorite hues is
that lovely shade of blue.
But I wouldn’t want to be you,
I like myself just fine,
and don’t want you to be me;
we’ll both get there in time.
I know you like Scott Joplin,
and I love a Bernstein score,
I love good gumbo and pot pies,
one flavor’d be a bore.
When we escape these bodies,
and meet at heaven’s gate,
then we can say no color,
We’ll have nothing to debate.
We’ll be at peace in truth,
and understand all things,
but until then let’s be real…
Enjoy what difference brings!
And until that day in glory
when we are truly one,
let’s love ourselves in color,
not pretend that we see none.
Consider what it means,
to love without condition,
it means to see all sides of me,
yet love is your decision.
To be high but lay down low,
and love beyond yourself
is the best way to love others,
and have spiritual wealth.
But to claim you see no color,
and smile like all is fine
is to say you don’t see wholely
and if so, we see you’re blind.
Here a quote from a blogger I grew to respect and admire whole heartily:
“Was mich nicht umbringt, macht mich stärker” (What does not kill me, makes me stronger). Cheer.
Wow v9, that was nice…
I am sorry if some commenters look at my comment as racist. It was not intended to be but was aimed at those who talked and talked, shouting about discrimination, complained about their house being too small and their tv set not the latest flat screen lcd.
Where were they when it really matters? When its time to walk the talk?
You know what? Those who walked that day (mostly) are from the lower middle class and lower. As always, they have to do the job for all?
Comes election, guess who will put amno and bn into power? The same people who complained about not getting contract from government and the same people who complained about their temple being demolished… Remember Ijok?
We are turning into suckers for pain, arent we?
Dont worry v9… you were not hard on me.
Saudara,
Niatnya bagus. Tetapi dirosakkan oleh dua perkara:
(i) Kehadiran kanak-kanak yang tidak berdosa yang dibawa oleh obu bapa yang tidak prihatin kepada keselamatan mereka dan juga penganjur yang mengambil kesempatan ke atas mereka;
Yes jean…If we keep thinking how UMNO keep returning back to power…it’s those bloody selfish voters that do not walk the talk…and you are right again…mostly from the so call..upper class.
But you bet your life….jean…..many millionaires were there too…dis-carting their class and identities….to be one and same…as Malaysians.
Don’t be too negatives…I think thousands will have their guilty conscience pricked..to vote for themselves and personal benefits.
We walked for their children and the country….not for ourselves.
Let these so call more educated voters THINK and live with it.
Don’t worry about the King or Royalties…
The present group are all well educated and can feel the pains…hardships of their subjects….caused by massive corruptions and downright arrogant people managing the country….like they own it…not the Sultans…just be patient.
i am so damn proud of u guys and gals TERUTAMANYA kepada makcik-makcik sekelian.malaysia indeed does have a chance
Roly is thinking he is so smart or a pro UMNO supporter.
If he thinks he is smart…then look around ….and read all messages. Are you not a damn fool?
If he is pro UMNO….then shit..what can we say…son-in-law can orgainzed rallies ..it’s okay.
Najib defying..saying UMNO can organize bigger rally..is okay.
All UMNO raalies of the past and present…are okay.
Yet not one is bigger than what Malaysians have ever witness….did not awaken roly?
Is he another gas bag with no brain?
This message is also for Mohamad Fizal.
penangkia,
I practice my rights by voting and thank you for reminding me about freedom of expression, I’m well aware of it. Is breaking the law an expression too? Guess so.
monsterball,
I’m not selfish or a coward. I’ll gladly walk a thousand miles if it’s a cause i believe in. I just don’t believe in YOUR cause or support it. I’m not much for Pak Lah and his merry band of bandits and I’m no Umno lover but naaah, i’ll never vote for the opposition.
If you decided to go out and rallied but found out not many malaysians gave a damn, then tough. It hurts but live with it. It was their choice not to join. Just like it’s their choice to vote for BN and Umno. Freedom of choice. That’s what you walked and got tear-gassed for, right?
Yes roly…You are a typical commentator that talk great but no actions. Yes…you gave your reasons….and one can read it as you are a very selfish and a big cowrad too…and don’t dramatize you can walk a thousand miles. Even 3 miles…you are afraid…why talk so big….and for goodness sake…no Malaysians will be that idiotic to walk a 1000 miles like you.
So you talk cock and bull…stay that way…be known by other who you are…but stop telling me and more than 40,000 walkers ..how wise your reasons for not walking .
No one force you….but don’t bullshitt…will you?
roly…Go study how corrupted governments..all being toppled by which method…by walking or by ballot boxes.
Black@AminIskandar is an expert in this..
I hope he can give you a lesson how to do your best for the country…..BY WALKING!!
Afraid fights and deaths may occur???…..hahahahahaha
roly….Constitutions were amended and added so many times to strengthen UMNO dictatorial rule over us.
Yet we walk…is breaking the law…because it is against the Constitution….to protect them ..not Malaysians.
You say you do not support UMNO…yet… you are blinded by their laws and by-laws to also suit the son-in-law and all the lawyer burok …idiotic ministers….clever to talk cock like you……hahahahaha
roly,
who broke the law,? because the goverment said so.
why is it illegal to express ourselves if we have freedom of expression?
as Al-Jazeera asked Zam why can’t the people protests if is a democratic country?
congrats to all. I never made it to the rally but stuck nearly 4 hours just trying to enter kl. by the way, dont anyone wants to take an initiative to sell or distribute a BERSIH car sticker.. i would love to stick one on my car. eat it pak lah!
I definitely cannot argue against someone who sounds like a mini ZAM under duress. Hmm. I can only quote,
“Thus, we see that one of the obvious origins of human disagreement lies in the use of noises for words.”
Alfred Korzybski (American Scientist and Philosopher, 1879-1950)
So i take my leave, like this Slovenian proverb advises,
“Speak the truth, but leave immediately after.”
or else
“The cobra will bite you whether you call it cobra or Mr. Cobra.” ….Indian proverb
and agree that
“He who goes with wolves learns to howl.” …. Spanish proverb.
I sadly concede that
“No matter how hard you try, the bull will never give milk.”….Ukrainian Proverb.
I wish you well, all , in your quest for ‘clean and fair’ elections and the success of the opposition (yeah rite, pigs can really fly). Just an advice,
m-ball, “Your head is not only for putting a hat on.”….Old Proverb.
penangkia,
“People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid.”
– Soren Aabye Kierkegaard
One last Proverb. “The family that prays together stays together. “
Your last proverb is wrong!
It is…”The family that eats together…stays together”
And what is the use to pray together when the hearts are not pure and good?
I don’t wear a hat to show off…do you?
For the other proverbs…….it’s useless to tell you how stupid of you to talk like that.
“TAKE SIDES. Silence helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.”
“Sometimes we must interfere. When human lives are endangered, when human dignity is in jeopardy, national borders and sensitivities become irrelevant. Whenever men or women are persecuted because of their race, religion, or political views, that place must – at that moment – become the center of the universe.”
Eli Wiesel, Holocaust survivor, 1986 winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, 1985 winner of the Congressional Gold Medal, and author of over 40 books.
Go Check Your Voting Status: http://daftarj.spr.gov.my/daftarbi.asp
you people just played to the hands of the opposition parties. who do these 40K or so demonstrators think they are representing? who? all us rakyat?? sorry to break yr bubble, but that day, you were pawns of the opposition.
sure the opposition claims that BERSIH consists of 60 plus Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and a small “insignificant” number of 5 Opposition political parties, making this a “non political ” rally. i hear that all the time from those in favour of the rally.
that statement is nothing more than political tactic made up by the opposition, a cunning and manipulative one. the obvious outcome of such rally is more ppl voting for the opposition. and you all would hv just played into their hands.
they hype the crowd with feel good statements, use the king (who was horse riding in trengganu tht day) to raise the emotions of these pawns , instructed their members (the bulk of protesters) to not waive party flags to reinforce their claim tht this is a rakyat rally not a political one, repeatedly harp on all the bad things BN has done ( which they have – yes im not a BN supporter) , with the extensive news coverage from tv3 to al jazeera, the opposition hit a home run this time. great publicity , and hopefully more angered voters and fence sitters voting for them.
yea yea , i hear u ..of 60 plus non govt org only “insignificant” 5 opposition political parties, or in percentage terms, 7% of bersih is opposition parties.
ok so tell me , so tell me why is it that 5 out of 7 delegation that went to to hand the memorandum to the King were leaders of opposition political parties?
sorry to break yr bubble, im a rakyat. u did nothing for me except made a 1/2 hr journey turn into a 3 hr journey thanks to traffic and roadblocks. enough of your ‘we did it for malaysia’ and yr ‘daulat tuanku’..you guys didnt gv an ass abt the tuanku when they were beaten to the ground by DrM. and u didnt do it for malaysia, you did it for the 5 ppl out of 7 that went to see the king… who was in trengganu horse riding.
aiya..yai..ya..yai…….Another ortak tak centre talking cock.
I guess he is lonely and want someone to talk to him.
He thinks more than 40,000 of us are idiots and he is such a smart clown.
Well my friend….60 orgainsations formed the walk….and yes….the welknown opposition parties leaders…Lim..Anwar…and Hadi walked to lead and handed the memorandum on behalf of the walkers.
It’s call manners and respect given to them….as individuals….as no one carry any party flags!!
But who am I talking to..and why should I response.
well..I am a nice old man trying to straighten this otak tak centre man to the right way of thinking. Have I succeeded?
maybe u should also try to straighten out the otak of the Agong too since he now says he deeply regrets claims that he supports and endorse this act of foolishness
Firstly…Do you believe Agong said it….or someone wrote the scrip and he has no choice but to endorse.
RPK gave all the details…go read that ..then lets debate .
But whatever it is…you are right in one way…that alot of otaks need straightening out..but definitely not the Agong as himself. but thee people are trained to be above all their subjects…so lets leave that as that.
I read the papers….neither did Agong say listen to PM. That is good enough for me…for the time being.
At the end of the day…it ia all us…the voters…that ortaks need to be straighten out…clear and unselfishly vote for the country and for the people’s freedom.
When realistrealist describe our walk as an act of foolishness…his sense or realism is infact being a selfish narrow minded coward…that’s what he is.
Truths does not come easy to such unrealistic people.
All they care is for themselves and talk God stuffs like a robot…never been awakened to the truths at all. Look at him changing the proverb from eating to praying shows clear he is a sinful man…that need God constant forgiveness…yet such a man talks of foolishness of others.
Sad case for him… thinking how smart he is.
monsterball, what the hell are you talking? what are you – a nutcase or something?
“All they care is for themselves and talk God stuffs like a robot…never been awakened to the truths at all. Look at him changing the proverb from eating to praying shows clear he is a sinful man”
do i even need to respond to this. after all, i dont even know what the hell this means. im a sinful man because i dont vote DAP , PAS or keadilan?
are you really sane ?
