If you think there is nothing wrong than please step down immediately. As you has long defend the SPR, than we Malaysian will file a police report and take civil action against you.
How can someone born in the year 1999 and year 1998 can register as voters? Or this two person were born in the year 1899 and 1898? If they were born in those year, than we should be given the prove that they are alive.

another crap : if you key-in old i/c no. 0562236 you will get an old lady (80yrs old ) born in year 1927. i think there are people in SPR playing with those numbers (but with bad maths!).
correction: old i/c no. 1207647 is born in 1935
here’s the summary:

old i/c no. 1207648 was born in 1998 or 1898 (9 or 109yrs old)

This obviously shows that the SPR has no check and balance system. In this world of IT, why wasn’t the system set up to detect such errors. The system should have been set to reject any registration of citizens who are below 18. Either the SPR people are damm stupid or this is done on purpose to cheat in electing. So SPR, take your pick, admit you are a bunch of stupid guys or you are cheating or behalf of the goverment.

If my memory recalls correctly, in some rare cases the New IC numbers does not necessary mean the date of birth.

That only shows that those people age 60 and above (today) registered for IC about the same time, somewhere around Merdeka time, not like your children today, get their IC numbers as soon as there are born. So yours is a false alarm.
And kelateboy, that’s not an IC of a 9 year old but a 107 year old. The question is, by norm the guy might already an arwah. But I think updating the register to delete all the dead voters’ name is close to impossible unless there is a proper channel to do it, like when one is reported dead, the record is immediately passed on to SPR to get updated. Also people need to co-operate to inform SPR on dead relatives. Hey it’s not easy to do that. People have difficulty even to register as voters. Ask rocky.

Poll: Malaysians most confident of their elections

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians are not only the strongest supporters of democracy in Asia but are also the most confident that their country’s elections are fair and free, according to a recent study by TNS and Gallup International.
New findings from Gallup’s Voice of the People research showed that Malaysians’ belief in the transparency of their elections stands in contrast to the sentiment expressed by more than half of respondents across the region who do not consider their country’s election processes to be impartial.
The survey interviewed more than 60,000 people in 56 countries around the world, representing the views and attitudes of more than 1.2 billion citizens.
Eight out of 10 respondents surveyed across Asia agreed that democracy is still the best system of government despite it facing problems.
About 73% of Asians said they were satisfied with the overall democratic practices in their home countries — only 6% of Malaysians were dissatisfied. Nearly half (47%) of respondents said their elections were weighted, imbalanced and biased.
Malaysians generally felt that they were well represented by their government’s actions and that they had political stability and security.
TNS and Gallup International conducted the study in Asia between June and August this year with the citizens of Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, India, Pakistan, Thailand, Philippines and South Korea.
