I’ve commented before that the “Touchy-Touchy” incident by itself doesn’t bother me at all.
But the overall context of the new luxury jet, the glitzy Monsoon Cup etc. does worry me a lot…it shows the pattern of a guy who’s enjoying the side benefits of the Office too much. That’s a very troubling trend.
The Prime Minister is primarily a servant of the Common People. We give respect to the institution of the PM, and the perks are a token of appreciation for the hard work he has to put in.

When he starts to enjoy the perks too much….that may be a good time for him to retire.

Personally, I do agree with kittykat46 totally. I am not saying that the touchy feely thing is ok. However, lets just admit that we have seen (and done?) more than that before, during and after the monsoon cup. Come on, valentine’s day was only 3-days ago…

BTW, I am not really bothered by michelle’s bare shoulder being caressed by our “imam” but the naked plane tattooed with a malaysian flag in the background did caused a nightmare to me. Just when I thought that the toll is bad enough they told me to pay for that monster too.

Which monster? The plane or the person caressing Michelle. Well, doesn’t matter. We have to pay them both and we don’t know why… geez..

Exactly my sentiment, ‘anakwarisan’. And that was what many been missing on the point. We care not if the camera caught him touching or carressing a woman’s shoulder if from the beginning, being religious wasn’t part of the image he projected. And here, we have him preaching his Hadhari and whatever it suppose to stand for. I wouldn’t even put “Islam” in front of it as not to tarnish the purity of the religion.
If it was okay and not damaging to his “imam” image, don’t you all wonder why it was taken off from the Monsoon Cup official website almost immediately after Malaysia-Today highlighted it? Go figure that out.

In the photo, her head seems to be leaning against his protruding belly. Or is it just my hyperactive imagination? Whatever he was pointing out to her must have been very funny or interesting. Or was it the caress on the bare shoulder that made her head “spin” (pun intended) in the general direction of his belly? You’ve got to give it to him, he is a good “toucher” if nothing else.
