Spot on Karpal!.

UMNO Youth should go and force Annuar Musa, The UMNO Faction who supported Idris Jusoh, Mat Taib The Princess Snatcher and many other Malays who is their own blood to openly apologises for years of ‘kurang ajar’ to the King and Sultans. If not, they are just nothing and I have to agree wholeheartedly with Karpal.

This is the brand of UMNO that majority of Malaysian rejects.

If we expect for them to change, what happened in Parliament yesterday proved that they yet to change.

If the new blood in UMNO, the Youth Wing is leading this new negative brand for UMNO, than for those few who still hope for a change in UMNO, I can just say this, FORGET IT.

UMNO is just heading towards “KECELAKAAN”.

Pre Sale: The Colours Of Kota Bharu Islamic City

23 02 2009

It is not easy walking down the streets of the old town centre in Kota Bharu without my memory came rushing. Almost every corner reminds me of my late mum.

Unfortunately, some of the old building has made way for progress. I missed the look of the old Odeon Kota Bharu where mum would take me to watch Jins Shamsuddin’s Menanti Hari Esok, Esok Untuk Siapa and Esok Masih Ada.

I missed the old Lido by the side of old Taman Sekebun Bunga where I would watch movie after movie whenever I have problem with mum at home.

I missed the murtabhak stall by the side of the old Bus Station, where she would ‘tapao’ it for our bus trip to KL.

While I missed the entire monument, this March 29 will mark a year had passed by without my supermum.

I have pledge to compile some of my most personal and controversial photos collection since I came back to Kota Bharu and turn it into a book in memory of her. The hard cover coffee table book is 200 plus pages thick and consist of hundreds of photographs will be called, The Colours of Kota Bharu Islamic City.

While I am looking for investor to cover the cost of printing, I also plan to pre sell the book to my readers at a very good price of RM65.00 not inclusive of postage expenses.

For my readers who wish to pre order the book, please send an email to cat_ishak@yahoo.com under the title of “pre order The Colours of Kota Bharu Islamic City”. We will contact you to advise on the price and postage fee once the book is ready.

I plan to have it released by May 2009.

Time To Go Lizzie

17 02 2009

Invasion of one privacy no matter by whom is an idiotic act. Violated the rule of engagement during courting and spread the intimate moment to public is ungentlemanly behaviour.

My heart is with Elizabeth Wong, a lady I am proud to call a friend. A lady whom I would welcome to the warmness hospitality by my family anytime at all.

I have only good thing to talk of Lizzie.

If I can stand by ‘Viagra’ Chua during his forced “public demonstration”

of a healthy Health Minister, why cannot I do the same with my fellow lady friend?

Although I did not agree with Viagra Chua forced resignation but the incident have put much dignity to the whole episode. Chua Soi Lek is the man. He had took it with guts. For a moment, he had single-handed put back the much lacking dignity into our national politic.

Nevertheless, Chua’s episode is a totally different story from Lizzie.

As I haven’t seen both, Chua’s performance and Lizzie’s act, nothing much to state about my reaction to their involvement. However, both happen not while being in the company of the person they have taken their vow. While Chua is married, Lizzie is not.

Religiously I do not think their religion condone their action although culturally it may have been acceptable.

While Chua did reached the seventh heaven at some point of his performance, Lizzie meanwhile was deep in ‘Taiwan’ enjoying her sleep. Nevertheless, unless the person who captured the digital photos breaks into the room without Lizzie’s permission, she actually do play some part in taking such risk.

But again, as a wise lady, Lizzie does know the risk well. I shall not speculate about her relationship with the person, but again, having said that, the person has no right at all to violate and then distribute the moment he captures.

While maybe the country is searching high and low for a glimpse of Lizzie’s skin, the political arena is searching for an action.

My personal opinion is Lizzie should go. At least let go of the State Executive Councillor position. The question of morale cannot be let hanging at the entrance of door.

Nevertheless, the most ideal way is for Lizzie to look deep into her and ask the question whether she can continue to perform under current situation. Next will be whether her colleagues will not be affected by the current expose and third, how the situation is taken by her constituents

Lizzie cannot afford to be self-thinking. As a representative, she should base her decision on those who she represents.

As a politician, Lizzie lost her right to decide for her future, her priority now is to decide for the future of her political party, their partners and their supporters.

Yet, Lizzie should not lose herself. She should be the Eli we knew. Nothing change and for that, my family and I would welcome her anytime into our privacy.

Kurang Ajar And Kurang Di Ajar

16 02 2009

KEPERCAYAAN KEPADA TUHAN
KESETIAAN KEPADA RAJA DAN NEGARA
KELUHURAN PERLEMBAGAAN
KEDAULATAN UNDANG-UNDANG
KESOPANAN DAN KESUSILAAN

We, her peoples, pledge our united efforts to attain these ends guided by these principles:
BELIEF IN GOD
LOYALTY TO KING AND COUNTRY
UPHOLDING THE CONSTITUTION
RULE OF LAW
GOOD BEHAVIOUR AND MORALITY

Kurang ajar is purely rude in Malay. Kurang di ajar maybe less educate. Let us not be kurang di ajar about our National Principles.

“The Rukunegara or sometimes Rukun Negara (Malay for “National Principles”) is the Malaysian declaration of national philosophy instituted by royal proclamation on Merdeka Day, 1970, in reaction to a serious race riot known as the May 13 Incident which occurred in 1969. The incident proved at that time that Malaysian racial balance and stability was fragile at best. Immediately thereafter, the Malaysian government sought ways to foster unity among Malaysians. One of the methods used to encourage unity is the Rukunegara. The Rukunegara was inspired in part by the Indonesian Pancasila, and like the Pancasila, is based on five guiding principles.” – Wikipedia.org.

The five guiding principles must be read together. In other words, we cannot uphold one principle and left behind the others. We are not given the liberty to choose which one we want or which one we do not want to follow.

Interestingly the second principle, Loyalty to the King and Country, is a combination of two principle, it is read together. You cannot take one and leave the other. You must be loyal to your King and your country. In laymen term this mean the King do not stand alone in the principle.

Secondly, the second principle came only after the first, which is Believe in God. Then it was immediately followed by Upholding the Constitution.

Upholding the Constitution is followed by Rule of Law and subsequently by Good Behaviour and Morality.

What will happen if one of the element within the 5 principles contradict with the rest of the elements.

Let us take an example, a person by the constitution is regards or appoint as the Head of The Islamic Religion but they themselves blatantly disobey the teaching of Islam. What happen next?

Let us take another example, a person is appoint by the constitution as the Head of the Country but they themselves contradict most of the principles that we were asked to read every morning during school assembly.

Should we the rakyat still remain loyal to such person?

The answer is no. Blatantly no because we have as the educated rakyat who knows how to read and write should know how to read all the principles thus obey it blindly.

And yes, we cannot be rude because one of the principle of being a Malaysian is Good Behaviour and Morality.

And if we take the first principle and the last principle and we read it together, Believe in God + Good Behaviour and Morality, it means we cannot take bribe, we cannot gamble, we cannot consume alcohol, we cannot whack people with golf club and slap a teacher when our son whack others with a hockey stick, we cannot not paying our loan and get angry when the Bank sue us, we cannot  pawn our state in Black Jack Table etc etc.

Yes we cannot.

Let us uphold our Rukun Negara. Let us see what UMNO have to say about it!

Let us remember that it was UMNO who marched in the 90’s to reduce the immunity of the King and Sultan. It was UMNO who marched to install a new Sultan in Kelantan. It was UMNO man who seduced the Sultan’s princess and married her secretly without the knowledge of the Sultan.

It was UMNO men who call the King and The Sultan of Terengganu as Animal in March 2008. It was an UMNO man who said the Raja of Perlis cannot disobey his decision to appoint the Menteri Besar.

While I supported the reduction of the immunity of the King and Sultan, I disagree with the manner those UMNO hooligans takes the street and the airport taxiway to show their allegiance towards the decision.

I wonder if the Mat Taib and Annuar Musa take against the palace can be constructed as plainly rude and full of self-interest? For this I supported Karpal Singh if he continue wanting to sue the Sultan of Perak.

Mari Derhaka – Let Us Learn From UMNO

11 02 2009

“Maka titah Sri Tri Buana, “Hendaklah pada akhir zaman kelak anak cucu bapak jangan derhaka pada anak cucu hamba. Jikalau ia zalim dan jahat pekertinya sekalipun.”

Maka sembah Demang Lebar Daun, “Baiklah tuanku. Tetapi jikalau anak cucu tuanku dahulu mengubahkan dia, (Maka) anak cucu hamba pun mengubahkan dia.”

Sejarah Melayu

Demang Lebar Daun promised that “the descendants of your humble servants shall be the subjects of your majesty’s throne, but they must be well-treated by your descendants. If they offend, they shall not, however grave their offence, be disgraced or reviled with evil words: if their offence is grave, let them be out to death, if that is in accordance with Muslim law”. To which Sang Utama replied ” I agree to give the undertaking for which you ask, but I in turn require an undertaking from you … that your descendants shall never for the rest of time be disloyal to my descendants, oppress them and behave in an evil way to them.” To which Demang Lebar Daun agreed “… but if your descendants depart from the terms of the pact, then so will mine… subjects shall never be disloyal or treacherous to their rulers, even if their rulers behave cruelly and immorally … and if any ruler puts a single one of his subjects to shame, that shall be a sign that his kingdom shall be destroyed by Almighty God.”

Let us begin our today’s lesson on Derhaka by listing 10 most Derhaka incident in Modern History of Malaysia. I shall start by the most horrible Derhaka of all which is conducted by UMNO current Information Chief, a senator and a minister by the name of Muhammad Muhammad Taib. He deceived than lie to the Al Marhum Tuanku about his marriage with Tuanku’s princess. He took the princess to Thailand and secretly took their vow there.

Then came double act by Abdullah Ahmad Badawi the Prime Minister and President of UMNO last March.

Where is UMNO during this time? Are they behind their leader and tumpang menderhaka sekaki or defending the Palace?

Dear my beloved reader, I shall place the honour to list another 7 incident of Derhaka  if you can recall. I bet by end of this day, we will have at least ten incident and all involve UMNO.

Salam Derhaka buat UMNO Derhaka!

Sacked!

10 02 2009

Roman Abramovich has sensationally sacked Big Phil in a day where Najib Razak fingered through his not so itchy scalp while staring at the prospect of losing the third and the fourth by-election after miraculously escape a snap election for Perak State Assembly.

Khairy Jamaluddin the stern supporter of Manchester United is studying the latest development in English Premier League very closely knowing that the axe that has fallen to Luiz Phillipe Scolari will precisely means the end of the season for Chelsea.

Meanwhile Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor is monitoring the currency exchange graph while taking some note on the 12 million sterling pound pay-off paid to Scolari after the contract was prematurely end.

It is believed that Rosmah will be talking to her husband soon regarding the pay-off.

However, Najib Razak, another strong believer of Manchester United is digesting Sir Alex Ferguson’s words. The fabulous gaffer of Theatre of Dream was quoted as saying, “it is a shock so soon, he only took the job seven months ago.”

“It is a sign of times, there is absolutely no patience in the world now!” Sir Alex words sent electric down the spine of Najib.

Khairy Jamaluddin will attend a family gathering hosted by his father-in-law soon. We can bet they will discuss the prospect of Manchester United retaining the Premiere League trophy and make it an historical second time hatrick. And, the Big Phil saga will surely be in the menu too.

Many members of the corridor of power will also love to highlights the fact that how Scolari’s experience and medals collection can do nothing to safe him from the reality of the day.

And the same reality is having Najib for breakfast this morning.

Election in Perak, After All

9 02 2009

The Rakyat of Perak will have the chance to prove which MB do they actually want. Barisan National has been working hard and utilised all the dirty tricks they known but they can never go against God’s will.

In a change of event, Member of Parliament of Bukit Gantang passed away this morning paving way for a showdown between Pakatan Rakyat and Barisan Nasional.

Allahyarham Roslan Shaharum, previously belong to the people now has return to meet God in an ultimate sacrifices. Roslan won the election on March 8, 2008 for PAS beating an Independent candidate M. Morgan and BN’s Abdul Azim Mohd Zabidi with a majority of 1,566 votes. Interestingly, the spoilt votes are 851 while the independence gather 872 votes.

Parliament Bukit Gantang consist of 3 State Assembly seats which one of them is Changkat Jering where the former Pakatan Rakyat Exco then charged with Corruption and Sex Scandal and then turn to Najib to become one of three independent Assemblyman whom loyal to BN.

Mohd. Osman Mohd Jailu won the Changkat Jering seat beating the challenger from BN Mat Isa Ismail with a majority of 1,102 votes.

The other two State Assembly seats under the Parliamentary boundary are Kuala Sepetang, which won, by PKR with a majority of 564 votes and Trong, which won, by BN with a majority of 916 votes.

Voters composition consist of 27% Chinese and 10% Indians out of 55,471 eligible voters as per March 8, 2008.

It will be great if Pakatan Rakyat would nominate their MB Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin as the candidate for the coming by-election. This shall be most legitimate forum for Nizar to test whether the rakyat supports him or deserted him and bless the BN way of coup-de-ta.

Pembubaran Dewan Undangan Negeri Perak

1 02 2009
