Sekali lagi amaran Tuanku jelas, jangan kerana nila setitik, rosak susu sebelanga.
Fahami sejarah sebelum berkata-kata. Janji kita hendaklah kita kota. Mempertahankan satu sama lain, melampaui batasan warna dan tutur kata adalah tanggungjawab kita Rakyat Malaysia.

ya, jgn selalu salahkan org Melayu dlm semua perkara. jgn lupa sejarah anda wahai rakyat malaysia.
Jangan libatkan keluarga raja. Kesian, tak pasal-pasal Ku Li pula difitnah sebagai dalang (hanya kerana pertalian keluarga)
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
Cakap siang pandang-pandang….
Orang melayu kan senang di pengaruhi. From being an animists and hindu followers, it only took a few mubalighs from who knows where to convert the entire kampong and then the state. Now it only take Yasin and a group of image consultants. There is no racist. Only angels.
We were and we are so accomodating and loving and “jaga hati” everyone.
Ampun Tuanku. You are right. Your predecessors did wrong and I dont think you want to repeat it that.
Cakap malam dengar-dengar. Through all my childhood, I thought JWW Birch was a hero, Dato’ Bahaman was a villain and now I even doubt that Hang Tuah was a malay warrior.
I hope I am not always this late in understanding things. Salute you sheih…
I have mentioned in the past that NEP is not constitutional and has extended its period beyond what has been planned to be necessary. 20 years has passed, but greed has set in.
Greed to benefits only a few and not the poverty stricken Malaysians. An affirmative policy that helps the poor regardless of race is needed.
I have also demonstrated that India has Muslim presidents despite being 80% Hindu. Similarly, in Australia there are Asian mayors. In America, New Zealand and many countries, top positions are for the capable not based on race or religion.
Now, let us not sweep all discussions under the carpet with the term Article 153.
Article 153 should always be interpreted together with Article 8 that all Malaysians must be dealt with fairly and treated as equal.
While the positions of the malays are respected and their heritage not forgotten, they are not meant to be the guardians of toll and wealth and collectors that usurp all money, oil and some natural resources till it is left dry.
It is important we publish this, so we do not just shiver when we hear Article 153, and begin to think of greedy ways to gain from another or use it to put down another races.
Article 153:
(1) The quotas reserved must be reasonable and the reservation of licences and permits for malays and natives must be of such proportion as may be deemed reasonable.
(2) The scope of the reservation of quotas is only with respect to positions in public service, scholarships, and other similar educational or training privileges accorded or given by the federal government.
(3) The special reservation of quotas must not affect the rights of other communities.
Apart from the provisions allowed under the abovementioned Article 153, all citizens of Malaysia must be treated as equal. This is clearly provided for under Article 8 of the Federal Constitution.
Article 8:
(1) All persons are equal before the law and entitled to the equal protection of the law.
(2) No public authority shall discriminate against any person on the ground that he is resident or carrying on business in any part of the federation outside the jurisdiction of the authority.
(3) There shall be no discrimination in favour of any person on the ground that he is a subject of the ruler of any state.
NEP: It will destroy the Malaysia.
We must demand these changes and the power is with the people. We must go against a corrupt government, a fanatic religious social structure and not accept crime rates and the NEP. We need to change Malaysia and the social structures that are not relevant for Malaysia anymore.
We need to free ourselves from these chains that make our lives not worth living.
Abe sheih.. ado transkrip teks penuh ucapan YM TMK dok?
KU.. InsyaAllah.. ambo dan ghama lagi rakyat kelate hok akae korbae gappo sajo keh nok jago KU.. bimbing dan ketuai lah kami KU..
As a post-independence-born Malaysian, I would like to offer my thoughts on Article 153 of the federal constitution which mentions the special position of the malays. Please note that there is no mention of the words ’special privileges’ or ’special rights’ in the constitution.
For too long, there has been a lack of understanding of what our forefathers had in mind when they included this clause in our much talked about social contract. To gain a better understanding, let us take a trip back in time to 1957 to actually visualise the scene then.
In a scenario where the immigrant Chinese and Indians were seeking citizenship rights in Malaysia, it is reasonable to presume that they would have had to understand and acknowledge the difficulties faced by the majority malays.
And this is where the meaning of the words ’special position’ comes into focus. What did our forefathers mean by the special position of the malays? Did they mean that the malays would enjoy a higher status than all the other races? Did they mean that the malays would have special rights and privileges in perpetuity?
If this is what our forefathers had intended, then our constitution would have mentioned this specifically. However, the constitution or social contract does not say so.
What then, could the words ’special position’ mean? It is reasonable to infer that our forefathers were concerned first by the fact that the malays were left behind economically despite being the indigenous majority in the country.
Secondly, they were concerned by the fact that, despite being immigrants, the Chinese and a small segment of the Indian community were relatively much better off.
The clause was therefore more so of an acknowledgment by the non-malays of the disadvantageous economic situation of the malays. The consideration given by the former to the latter when entering into the social contract for citizenship rights was agree to provide some measure of support for the malays to improve their economic standing.
If our forefathers had meant for these preferences to last in perpetuity, then there would not have been a request for a review in 15 years.
When I see the compulsory requirement for non-malay companies to hand over a certain portion of their equity to the malays for no input at all, I am tempted to ask: Is this what our forefathers had in mind? I can go on listing the abuses forever because there are plenty of them.
It is intriguing to hear senior BN and Umno leaders repeatedly asking the people to adhere to the social contract. What contract they are referring to? It cannot be the federal constitution. It is most probably some contract that they have entered into unilaterally without the agreement of the non-malays.
So it seems to be incorrect to firstly equate the words ’special position’ with ’special rights and privileges’. Secondly, it also seems incorrect to suggest that the malays have special rights and privileges in perpetuity and therefore, that they have a higher status than everyone else.
The non-malays only agreed to allow them preferences over the others for a finite period of time. It has now been almost 50 years since independent but has such a meaningful review of those preferences taken place at all? Absolutely not.
In fact what has happened is that successive BN governments, dominated by Umno, and especially after the 1969 tragedy, have taken the liberty to very liberally interpret Article 153. This has led to the wholesale abuse of the consideration provided by the non-malays in 1957 for their citizenship rights.
It seems to me that the real social contract of 1957 was torn up long ago by the BN government with the way in which the NEP was implemented from the 1970s onwards.
To me, the real social contract of 1957 has long been dead. I hope the day will come when the people of Malaysia in the true independent spirit will make it live again.
Then perhaps, we would not have to spend hundreds of millions ringgit on nonsensical projects like the National Service to inculcate unity amongst the races.
ya sheih,
This time i’m absolutely agree with you on many things…
thanks for thinking…
The special position of the malays as prescribed under Article 153 of the Constitution is limited in scope to only the reservation of reasonable quotas in these 3 sectors: public services, educational places and business licenses.
Hence, the present rampant racial discriminations practiced on almost every facet of our national life are mostly violations of the Constitution. Examples of these violations are:
(a) Racial discrimination in the appointment and promotion of employees in publicly funded bodies, resulting in these becoming almost mono-raced bodies. These bodies include: the police, civil service, army and various semi and quasi government agencies.
(b) Imposition of compulsory share quota for malays in non-malay companies.
(c) Imposition of compulsory price discounts and quotas in favour of malays in housing projects.
(d) Completely lop-sided allocation of scholarships and seats of learning in clearly unreasonable proportions that reflect racial discriminations.
(e) Blanket barring of non-malays to publicly funded academic institutions (that should include the Mara).
(f) Barring of non-malays from tenders and contracts controlled indirectly or directly by the government.
Our Constitution provides for only one class of citizenship and all citizens are equal before the law.
The presence of Article 153 does not alter this fact, as it is meant only to protect the malays from being “squeezed” by other races by allowing the reservation of reasonable quotas on certain sectors of national life.
However, this Constitution has now been hijacked through decades of hegemony of political power by the ruling party to result in the virtual monopoly of the public sector by a single race.
The ensuing racism, corruption and corrosion of integrity of our democratic institutions have brought serious retrogression to our nation-building process in terms of national unity, morality, discipline and competitiveness of our people.
Ulamak adalah manusia. Raja pun manusia jugak. Pemimpin pun manusia jugak.
UMNO selama 50 tahun merdeka TIDAK melaksanakan tugas membela nasib kaum Melayu nya ! asyik cakap kosong kerja abuk tadak !
….Kepada rakyat Malaysia bukan Melayu, jangan kerana marahkan segelintir pemimpin UMNO, semua orang Melayu di pandang hina…..
Daulat Tuanku 3X….
Hail to the King!!!
Daulat Tuanku!!!
-Alumni SMS Tengku Muhd. Faris Petra-
Sorry Sheih, I overtake a bit… but this one very important !! I’m not shock but I’ve concerned it before and here come the truth…
http://edyesdotcom.blogspot.com/2008/04/babi-bumiputera-wakil-umno-terlibat.html
Why is only now “Ketuanan Melayu” being raised? After UMNO lost much of the seats?I smells rats (UMNO that is)..that prepared the speech. Dear, dear Tengku, Ketuanan Melayu resemble Facist, go back and learn from the Tok Guru on Tauhid Uluhiyah and Tauhid Rububiah. The best among us is those who fears Allah (Takwa). So, one shouldn’t be ego on this issue because it has brough UMNO to its kness! Understood Tengku?
SHEIH, showing loyalty to the prince is an admirable trait, but the speach does not endear him to well to the non-malays. so now the non-malays should pack up and leave issit, so if nicol david wins the world squash no. 1 title she should give it up , 50 years down the road, are we still harping on this, go read the rukun negara. this red eye of jeoleousy has to stop some where, Malaysia is where it is today through the efforts of all Malaysians, not 1 particular race. This speach by the prince is another repackaged ketuanan issue, from m2day one of the comments made was rather pertinent, what is the percentage of non-malays in Kelantan which is the Prince’s own home state how many of them have economically sidelined the malays, taken away their rights, why is there still poverty in Kelantan?, go solve the poverty in the kampungs than pass comment, you spoke about reality, well lets call a spade a spade. these statements of racial seperation are a trade mark of UMNO POLITICS trying to divert attention away from themselves, What rights are the non malays asking for, we don’t have NEP/DEB/amanah saham nasional/ scholarships etc, we work hard eventhough obstacles are thrown in our part, it makes us stronger by facing adversity, willingness to face challanges. all we ask for is to uphold the rule of law and a level playing field. don’t you want to see people who steal, manipulate the system to make themselves and their cronies rich, while the poor MALAYS, where are they. I ask you was lim guan eng asking for special previlages when he went to the defence of that poor underaged MALAY girl who was raped by the CM, he went to jail, whaever spin you put on it, he went to jail asking for justice for that rape victim, now what happened to the victim, she was sent to a reeducation center, WHAT JUSTICE, where were the CHAMPIONS OF MALAY RIGHTS, you only see and hear what you want to hear, not reality. I have followed your blog for quite some time and even when I disagreed with you, i always applied the rule of agreeing to disagreeing with you, everybody has an oppinion , but to play into the racial hatred thingy will only lead Malaysia down a very slippery slope to economic and political disaster. we need to work together to make our country competitive again, we Malaysians are a very hard working lot, and we are not bodoh, we have to wake up and smell the coffee becauseSINGAPORE,INDONESIA,THAILAND,CAMBODIA,CHINA,INDIA,TAIWAN and everybody else is overtaking us because we cant seem to solve our problems.
There is a rumour that the prince did not make the speach as reported, he amended the speach, but the press were given a copy of the original speach, if this is true the PRINCE has to make a statement to clear the air.If umno has manipulated the prince than let UMNO face the music not the kelantan royalty.
All over the world…there are true stories of good and bad kings….even brotherly kings fighting each other to gain complete power….and always the good will win over the evil one.
God help Malaysia!!. We have NINE times more than anyone in the world….NINE chances for better or worst lives than others.
NINE times richer or poorer than others.
I understand NINE is also the famous number for muslims cars…is that true???
But I know NINE is he magic figure in maths.
Divide …multiply or add 9 ……to any figures….will all come out 9 in the end.
EXAMPLE: 9X9=81 …and 8+1=9
And to answer jeancumlately…..YES!! Hang Tuah is actually…”Han Toh Ah”….a Chinese warrior….name….”Toh Ah”… from the Han Dynasty. I understand his bones DNA were tested and found to be Chinese….thus all Malaysian history books…..no more Hang Tuah la….so sad.
If that is not true….then many teachers from Malacca should be beheaded…spreading this news.
Aku konfius,
Betulkah Melayu berpecah?

Cica.. absolutely agreed with your opinion!
Patik bersetuju sangat. Patik bangga sebagai rakyat tuanku, rakyat negeri Kelantan Darul-Naim.
something fishy is going on here. This blogger is starting to sing the song sang by Tengku Razaleigh. I notice that.
Err, what are you up to my friend?
Sheih
On this one, I disagree with your line of argument.
If this election says anything, is that non Malays did not accuse Malays. The anger was on UMNO.
To justify the Tengku Mahkota of Kelatna speech that non Malays are up in arms against Malays is giving an excuse, not a reason to justify the speech.
The Tengku should know that the rakyat is clear about one thing: THE MALAYS IS NOT EQUAL TO UMNO or UMNO equal the Malays. This is something the Tengku alluded to in his speech, which we all absolutely disagree.
The Tengku Must know, he is not a 10 year old crown prince, that his speech is POLITICAL and RACIALLY-BIASED. It should not come from a highly place ROYALTY in line for the throne.
The Tengku broke the unwritten rule of the Sultan DIRECTLY engaged in the politics of the country. If we all support the Tengku that his speech is OK, then we also say we support Dr M’s move to curb the powers of the monarchy.
The royalties CANNOT have it both ways.
What we can only say is that the Tengku made a faux pas in that he was MISLED by those clowns who organised that forum.
As an anak kelate and very supported of my own Sultan, whom I have the highest respect, I cannnot in all my earnestness support the Tengku Mahkota’s speech.
No amount of spin or justification can turn the fact around that the speech was POLITICALLY MOTIVATED BY PARTISAN POLITICS UMNO and that the Tengku KNOWINGLY or not, was dragged into make racially-biased speech, uncalled for and un-expected from a Royalty.
My respect for my present Sultan remains, but my respect for the Tengku Mahkot is damaged.
Shieh, you and I are anak Kelate, and we love our royal family. But does not prevent us from saying to our royal family from time to time, that they do make mistakes. It is our duty as a subject to let our monarchy know that, they are also human.
This is not only a matter disagreed by non Malays, even by Malays, although due to reasons of ‘adat melayu’, the response from the Malay subjects are required to be royally polite.
Read what “Aisehman” a Malay himself commented here on this speech: http://aisehman.org/?p=561
There are times when we have to call a spade a spade. The Tengku’s speech is uncalled for and we pray that he was indeed misled by those ultra-malays in UMNO.
Sheih, after going through everything together, are we all not brothers, equal in the eyes of God?
What’s going on? Are you saying that you are supporting the Tengku’s call that you should be more superior than we are and that we have less rights?
Daulat Tuanku.
the speech should be understood in both general and specific contexts. some of us find it is hard to admit the mistakes, corruptions, etc. which had been done by those – satan-hearted – people.. these ppl not only discriminated others but they also took many advantages on their own people in the name of ‘Melayu’. I think rakyat and raja-raja are no longer afraid to teach the ‘elected MPs’ or any current state government (Dap/BN/Pas/Pkr) another lesson if they can’t fulfil the given responsibilities or they are incapable to show their good service as the servants for ppl – not as their leaders.
I believe in the equality and justice for all and those ppl with God-fearing hearts will serve the best.
Well..if anyone watch Buletin Utama TV3 tonite..Pak Lah “I have standing ovation from everyone”…
if taking everything into context historically, socially and politically, the crown prince is still half correct. he is still not correct in demoting the chinese to be a 2nd class citizen. umno is also guilty of hijacking the malay’s special privileges as their own right. umno must realize that they are not the sole guardian of the malays. the malays can take care of themselves sometimes.
i saw HRH at the golf course in Pengkalan Chepa on a number of occasions.
NO COMPLAINTS. ABSOLUTELY NO COMPLAINTS. YOU MAY NOT REALIZE HRH PRESENCE!
i have never felt being second class at state level while i do feel very much being third class at federal level

Dear Sheih,
Aku melayu dan aku orang kelantan. Tapi aku malu kalau betul Tengku Faris kata macam yang dilapurkan.
Buat habih beras saja hantar pergi England untuk ‘belajar’. Betul ke dia gi belajar?
Kalau Tengku Faris tak kata macam tu, pohon maaf.
Hak melayu konon…SBJ tu kompeni melayu ke?
Melayu berpecah. Satu pihak menyokong rasuah, VK Lingam dan sistem kehakiman pincang. Satu pihak lagi pula menentang rasuah dan kemungkaran.
Kalau Umno itu adalah juga Melayu. Maka VK Lingam, Ananda Krishnan dan Vincent Tan ialah raja kita.
Hidup UMNO!
Daulat VK Lingam!
Daulat Vincent Tan!
Patik rela menunggu penjelasan Tuanku drpd membuat sbrg andaian. Salam.
I think his Highness has made a bad mistake by reading out that speech, whether it was written for him or by him.
A proper decorum would have been to grace it by some ribbon cutting token and leave the politicians to belt out their big mouths.
Let it be a glaring example for royals to think about in the future, that what his Highness had done was done was in bad faith and gaudily demeaning. When it comes to standing the royal’s ground think about the recent Terengganu CM episode and ponder how it was befittingly handled.
It requires more than just name and birthright to be regal.
UMNO ni kalau diri dulu bersatu dengan PAS, bina ISLAMIC FRONT and letakkan agama sebagai asas perjuangan, definitely the umat melayu is stronger, or even untouchable. Once the power is gripped strongly, then other parties can be offered for some piece of the cake.
In democratic country, bila politik melayu berpecah, tak kisah UMNO or PAS, there will be window of opportunity for other parties to make a full use of the situation. Sebab tu after PRU 12, there is U-turn on perception towards Pak Lah, that he is a better PM, coz the longer he is there, the greater is the anger arises from grassroot UMNO supporters.
PAS pun sama, towards Islamic country, as offered to the muslim. Tapi depa tahu that they cannot gain the support form all malays coz there is still UMNO hardcore supporters. So dia pigi peluk itu benggali who used to say “over my dead body”.
With all this political drama, as a malay I feel sorry for myself.
Why fight about races and rights here…we all human beings living on this precious “EARTH” . This earth does not belong to China, America or England. It belongs to all human beings living on it. Whether we like black people or yellow people or not, we still lives on this earth. Nowhere we can go… so please lives in harmony like brother and sister. Pls… we have to make sure our children live happily on this earth.
Kelantan royalties have no creditability as smart people! No one really cares what are spoken by any one of them….for or against.
And Islam does not belong to Malays only.
Indonesia is the largest Islamic country in the world… 10 times larger than Malaysia. They have true freedom of religions….but not in Malaysia. Compare to this…we have a hypocritical government…..as time have changed…yet they keep using the out-dated 50 year old Constitution….to point out their rights….and love to be racialists……not Malaysians at heart. These are the unstable.. …feeling insecure …..moody… mild and meek…. weak and selfish…to be a fanatic Muslim. It is sad.
Worst still….is one using the present situation to arouse religious emotions……just to favor a political party or as a race… they belong to…….knowingly …it is wrong… but still do it….not for the sake of the said religion..but to use the Islamic religion …to play dirty politics.
Such are the cunning malays….outwardly behave like a Malaysian…..but in heart…is racialist……..and they are smart enough to change…..to survive…..but their great sins …to lead people to evil side…… will always have Allah…to judge them….in His mysterious ways.
sheih is a hipokrit. everyone knows.
Awat semua kecoh ni…
Tuanku was referring to Anwar Ibrahim. And I must say that, he is spot on!
obviously someone wants to continue receiving free brand new red ferrari from ‘humble donor’ for doing nothing but eat and sleep at tax-payers expense.
one need to have the ‘thinking’ look to be one and many on the golden plate just lack this feature!
is it the same for one who has intelectuality mindset compared to another who sits and eats without doing anything meaningful in his own life?
even Prince William and Prince Harry having tough time to meet high expectation benchmark of the West for their Royalty…
come on; one just can’t continuingly assume the nation filled with 26 millions odds are humble donor…
preety sad indeed.

Proven after 50 years, RACE is still the stumbling block to Malaysians.
Get over it as even if blood is shed, we are still Melayu,Cina,India,Punjabi,Dayak,Iban,Bidayuh,Melanau,Senoi,Negrito,Jakun dan lain lain.
Please lah, we are Malaysians with different race ,ethnic and religion.
For what that matters, we accepted that in our country and in certain states, we have the Agung and Sultans.
So, please show some respect and decorum if the Royalty had ‘Titah” to the rakyat.
WHen we have problem with the gomen, we demand the Royalty to speak up. When the Royalty spoke up, we pula tak suka maka mulalah melatah.
Remember the Royalty have the mandate to protect Agama dan Bangsa.
If I am the emperor of China, I would do the same thing.
And should anyone insult my beloved HRH Sultan Selangor, I will speak up and defend my Sultan !
what ever it is.. this month KICKDEFELLA will be celebrating it 2,000,000kicks.. who will recieve that 2million kicks award??
yea..It is now a beloved Sultan of Selangor. No doubt about it.
But the late father was a welknown racialist.
Will any commentator ……..other than Malays… also defend the father?
So you see…a Sultan must first love ALL his subjects …….regardless and race nor religion ..to be love back by all his subjects.
This is Space Age Sultan now!!!…..not the law of the jungle.!!
Just look at how Queen Elizabeth 2 loved by all……inspite of Brits yearning .. to be a Republic for more so many years and on going……….but all love the Queen sincerely.
So there is no replacement to real true love for all…..by any leader….to get respect by all citizens. UMNO and BN are racialists parties……….and unfortunately..it went on for 50 years…..deeply rooted to so many….no faults of the citizens. It’s just dirty politics…..played over and over again …by corrupted and selfish evil minded politicians.
“Perpaduan Melayu” cara UMNO.
Morale of the story:
Umno is a Satan’s party. It is the enemy of Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
Bamboo River, respect is never the issue.
Picture this, how would you feel if I told you that you have less rights than me? Malays have no ideal how it feels to be treated like second rate citizens. No one, not even the Sultan have a right to tell any malaysians that they have less rights than others.
All religions preaches equal rights, including Christianity and Islam.
The United Nations preaches equal rights : “to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of nations large and small”
Even Africa has abolished apartheid.
So do some people here still believe and defend people preaching aprtheid and racism?!?!
Bamboo, there is no emperor of China btw.
And also, there’s a difference between defending your own race and putting down other races.
It’s perfectly okay to defend your own race, because you are expected to defend your own race.
But putting down other races and telling them that they are one level below other races is DIFFERENT! and what Tengku is doing is blatantly telling other races to their faces that they are second rate citizens. No human beings of whatever color deserves that. All are born equal.
A quote from your Quran :
“No Arab has any superiority over a non-Arab, nor does a non-Arab have any superiority over an Arab. Nor does a white man have any superiority over a black man, or the black man any superiority over the white man. You are all the children of Adam, and Adam was created from clay” (al-Bayhaqi and al-Bazzaz).”
All men are born equal. And it would be sacrilege for Tengku to say otherwise.
Again, I see that UMNO maybe playing their game trying to tarnish the image of our royalty, in this matter TMK. I was not there at the ceremony to testify to what actually TMK had mentioned, I was also a bit sad reading from Utusan what was written. The paper was trying to show that TMK was on UMNO’s side (according to the paper), somewhat.
I was hoping Mr Kick here could reveal the full text which was actually read at the ceremony.
I can sense that UMNO is playing its part in this, trying to manipulate the royalty, maybe out of the knowledge of TMK himself.
To those that have disrecpected the TMK in this blog, kindly apologize. Let’s keep an open mind on this matter until the truth is revealed.
UMNO is an opportunist that will always create an issue on any matter, omitting the truth and revealing half true facts to the rakyat so that the rakyat is misinformed, like the case of well organized pig farm in Sepang, recently.
Sometimes it’s good to be reminded..at least you know who you are and therefore behave!
Salam wbt.
I think most of us did not really appreciate history. We read & interpret them as we would’ve pleased. By reading & knowing a bit here and there, we all thought we were right from the very beginning.
Malays these days are indeed, insatiable.
Please do not blame the Bumiputras, Chinese or Indians on anything. Their forefathers made the deal, likewise ours with the Brits.
It hurts so much that the Malays have actually had their powers on the motherland slipped little by little, now that it is all too late.
The sirens for Malaysia for Malaysian is loudly trumpeted. All is equal.
Equal?
You sure about that, mate?
Open your eyes, your ears, nostrils perhaps. Do you see justice served & equality prevails?
This is a country that has been long-divided. This motherland and its people who made it prosperous once, has been segregated quite humiliatingly for at least 450 years.
If we were to clamor for justice & equal opportunities, this earth would be heavenly. But then, we could only clamor.
Both sides profess equality & justice. Yet both are monsters in their own definitions. The suckers? – well, of course the people. Of course fucking of course!
Bigotry has long rooted since the beginning of civilisation. Do you think democracy will shut the might of it? You’d probably live on a parallel universe if you thought so.
I am not a obedient muslim. I observed my Islamic teachings, a bit here & there. But I do know one thing for sure, this religion of Truth does not advocate hatred, segregation or uncalled for punishments – other religions & ideologies promote the same ideals.
I have nothing against the Sultans or their heirs-in-waiting, they’re mere humans who are not infallible. They do not speak for mankind or his so-called subjects. The Sultans do not speak for us.
I’m just thinking, after all this fuss & fuzz of post-election, would this motherland be in tatters? Would the inhabitants ever be safe & sound?
You people who love politics so much, tell me how to be zero-prejudice if all else fails, and civil war ensues? Tell me how to rebuild this country, emotionally.
The Malays are long known as bummers, idiots, gold-diggers, and whatever not.
We were accused time and again of being biased. What did we do? We resorted to hatred & racial slurs and remarks.
Of course bloody of course they all call us – melayu.
Tak solatkah kita? Tiada imamkah kita? Tiada pedoman kah kita ini?
I’ve been out and about for quite awhile, I think, with a bit of biasness, Malays are a wonderful set of people. Believe me and you. Think about this.
We have our strength in our religion, the Truth. We did not fully utilised it, in fact we pour a dastardly unmeaningful glance at it.
The Malays are not short of anything – brains, courtesy, courage, history.
But please do not undermine others as if others have nothing. We must work together to live together.
Prejudice is hard to kill but ignorance is in fact, a worse enemy.
Please people,
Refrain from trying to subjugate one another. Live harmoniously. Look around the world, look what happened when we let hatred & anger rule over the world.
If the politicians wish to ruin themselves, let them be – but don’t sacrifice our children & future generations. Our fathers & their fathers did their best to keep us happy where we are now.
Let’s get together and let those UMNO, PKR, PAS, DAP, MCA, MIC head-honchos battle out within their own dens. Let’s have a laugh looking at them & move on with our life.
Please do not let these bastards (politicians) get in our way.
They’re proven bastards. Believe me.
Allow them to be our puppets, not otherwise. Not otherwise, please.
So, after an emotional and melancholic barrage of sentences, I wish all Malaysian especially Malays, thunderous yet prosperous years ahead.
Assalamualaikum & Salam Sejahtera

Dear Wassup, before I proceed, let’s show some respect and be civilise in this issue.
United Nations “preaches” equal rights, but look at the past and present. Was it practiced in Palestine,Myanmar,Africa (eg.Zimbabwe) or even in USA? That word ‘preaches’ is just preach only bro, but it is not being carried out positively by men.
First of all, care to read and understand the “titah” in an open mind. If there really is some words that really offended the non malays, can we look into the reasons why was it said like that?
I know and I am only speaking for myself lah, as long as there are different races in a country, first class, second class or no class exist! It is not how or what people says or treat you, it is how and what YOU think of yourself. I ‘ve travelled overseas and I do faced the same predicament “You Asians are second class” My reply is “So what’s your problem with me? I am a law abiding citizen in my country and I don’t have problem with you or your country.”
Show them what first class means by giving them first class opinions.
I know there is no more emperor in China. The last Emperor was “Pu Yi”
I don’t pick kings or Emperor who are still alive. That would be seditous.
Wassup, every person have every right to protect their race. But if you understood the words meant to put down non malay races, then that is your opinion. Can we non malays really sit down and discuss with our malay friends?Read the context and its meaning ,not just the way the words being arranged.
If we can, then there is no big issue here.
If we can’t, then we should go back where we started from, before 1957.
I believe we non malays do say words that put down malays. I have heard those words before and I will asked them to kindly justify their opinions.
If we can ask ourself, “Are we Malaysians ?”
Do we accept the RukunNegara?
Do we accept the lagu Negaraku?
Do we accept the national oath?
Do we accept the DYMM Yang DiPertuan Agung as the ruler of our country?
Do we accept Islam is the official religion of the country?
Do we accept Bahasa Melayu (Malaysia) is the official language?
Wassup, we have been taken for a ride on the roller coaster by those bad politicians to create uneasiness among us.Read MCA OKT’s comment. RPK had warned us.Take heed.
Look how vulnerable we are.
Let loose bro, we are Malaysian lah.
Yes, I admit it seems that we have been taken for by a ride. However, Sheih’s vague post does not help matters at all.
Abuya is still a dog though. Must be an UMNO cyber trooper.
Shieh, I am dissapointed. Why did u delete my comments?
Bro Sheih is an artistic person.
He will write or make movies to make us readers/audiences to think out of the box.Not to take or absorb whatever as a whole. Like that no more artistic value mah.
Orang Seni fikirannya halus.
Chill wassup, have a nice day!
same to you Bamboo, nice talking to you.
Orang melayu pun jangan lupa-Malaysia dibentuk oleh semua bangsa. Bukan bangsa MELAYU sahaja. Zaman pun dah berubah, takkan orang MELAYU tak mahu berubah ikut peredaran zaman.
Sheih, it is so dissapointing and hurtful to see your comments as a non malay but still rightfully a Malaysian. I tell you I have supported many malay business people because they were honest in doing business. Many a times people in power have taken away from the malays themselves. Who is in power ??? Is it not us, my friend, you are all barking at the wrong tree ! Ask the TM what is Yayasan Kraftangan Kelantan doing in Gua Musang ! How many orang Kelate has being displaced and force to move for Yayasan Kraftangan project. Why blame others what you are doing yourself ! Ask any sincere NON – connected Malay businessman/woman how difficult it is to deal with their own people. Is really easy to blame others so that the blame does not fall on oneselves. Open your heart & see properly …. God Willing !
Just read some weaklings….due to their selfish characters…talking about defending their own race is okay. What race??
Here is the living proof….UMNO and BN…..playing dirty…..sinful race and religion politics..have captured weak minds…to think they are so smart to talk races…..and not as Malaysians.
The whole world is laughing at our so call advanced developed country….still so divided…by races and religions…knowing what a big hypocrite ..UMNO is…yet millions of Malays are still supporting them?
The only progresses we made for 50 years….are building huge monuments …to show to the world…and they do that to get huge commission….not bribery……so they say. Malays love style…love to how off….and all UMNO corrupted politicians are decorated with titles…more corrupted….bigger the title..trying so hard….to brainwash Malaysians…to be afraid of them.
UMNO have succeeded…making citizens….love to glorify and defend their own race……..and to put one up against others…..and best of all….only in Malaysia…Islam religion belongs to one race.
I can’t believe so many Malays can fall into this stupid logic..for so long.
So successful is the formula…..they become daylight robbers..little dictators…..with no fear nor shame.
So stupid are other races….playing race politics with Malays.
It is another thing….to feel proud as Indians.. Chinese….Ibans. …Bugis…..etc .
But when one Malay start to defend their so call god-gifted religion and race….others should battle him…on the history of the race and religion…..not counter fight him.
One cannot defend Malaysia for Malaysians….if one continue to talk races….especially the Chinese and Indians. It is an UMNO trap for 0 years…..and they are laughing…so call smart Chinese fall flat to the trap!!
Well…they still have 52% majority……although rumours are spreading…20% are leaving them. If that is true….than…. “Just Change It”..will be fulfilled soon.
And that will speed up the Malaysian Malaysia….long overdue….for good of all citizens….and I dare say…….Malays will benefit most from that.
Want to talk race and religion politics.
Wake up……..and stop being fools!!
lim guan eng for prime minister!!!!
Man can do NO wrong lo but GOD is never wrong la, if there is a man that is always RIGHT then you don’t need God la.
Sheih, I hope that you won’t do Sang Kelembai’s act, that easier said than done.
Cakap aje la apa pun yang nak dicakapkan. Apa nak kisah pasal apa orang lain kata. Tak payah teragak agak. Dah sampai masa orang Melayu kena berani bersuara. Tak cakap pun orang lain hentam kita, cakap pun orang hentam kita, elok beno la cakap, add more colors kata orang tu !!
We have a photo of an UMNO leader standing in a pig den and is surrounded by pigs. The photo was taken in Germany during their “study tour”. This UMNO leader now is busy inciting racial hatred by playing up the pig issues.
I told u, UMNO = PIG
Chinese cannot claim China is their country.
Likewise Indians.
It’s the other indigenous races with thousands of years…like the Ibans..Dykyats…Kubu…and few more can claim Malaysia is their own.
Not even Malays short history can qualify….and Malays needed the overseas .. Indians and Chinese…on so many matters..to be what they are.
Without the Indians and Chinese…Malays may still live on tree tops….daily afraid of tribal wars.
An check out…how long is the word ..’melayu”.. pointing out.. a race.
It is useless to go backwards……falling into UMNO race a region dirty politics……..over and over again.
Many in this blog..are pro UMNO .or pro MCA
members…not Malaysians at heart.
Yes…Sheih did well to arouse commentators to speak out.
Now…lets see…how many speak as Malaysians.
I notice the Indians have matured very fast…to be true Malaysians.
They avoid talking about race.
But I hope they KNOW..how much they have contributed to what Malaysia is today….and let no one try to belittle them..as minority..no voice. Not true. Look at Sabah….now calling the shots at BN. You think they can talk like that to UMNO… before election results?
So…it s so clear…UMNO and BN play… dirty and selfish politics.
I sincerely believe………..all other races will 100% love to be called Malaysians…and be Malaysians.
It is UMNO and BN dirty …race and religion politics….that makes makes other races…defending themselves.
It is the weakness of human beings……..UMNO are cashing in…….all these 50 years….never really want….true unity at all.
They want Malays to have false hopes and dreams.
UMNO needs to be voted out ….for good !!
It seems that the Tengku has indeed uttered those statements according to Malaysia kini. He DID say that other races are second class citizens.
What a racist Tengku! And Kickdefella is supporting him when other bloggers are hammering him?
Kickdefella, you are doing a Sang Kelembai? Already defected to UMNO? Ambil duit ke?
Sigh… I think its time to pack up! For those in despair, remember that most (if not all) the countries in the world would give you equal rights as citizens, if you work hard and are willing to sacrifice for the state.
As Dr. Munawar Anees said: “…they promised to give me Malaysian citizenship. As if thats the best thing that can ever happen to me!…”
I am taking my money somewhere else. Malaysia can kiss my ass!
In Islam, there is no such thing as second class, third class or fourth class citizens. In Islam, all humans regardless of their skin color are on the same level. Allah had already mentioned in the Quran that the best of humans are the ones who are most righteous. Allah cares not about your race, nor your status (or a Tengku), nor your wealth. To Him, race, status and wealth means nothing.
Islam guards all races, and the different religion under its care. History has proven the tolerence in Islam, if there is no tolerence in Islam, Jerussalam would have not been a flourishing city with three major religions all living in harmony (Islam, Christianity, Judaism) back when Islam was the world power.
The YTM TMK is correct when he said we need to learn from history, but if he had really said what he did say during that ceremony, I would have to disagree with him. Islam guards well the rights of every individual, Muslims or Non-Muslims.
-Me, a Kelantanese-
Can this Tuanku answer my question for my race? We Ibans from Sarawak agree to join Malaysia not to let you be the big brother and we the follower. We didn’t join an Islamic state, we didn’t join a country where the King only represent one race. If as a sultan in waiting is so narrow minded we the people have to bring him down and is too willing to support a Republic. If you do not agree than please kick Sarawak out and we will be too happy to be a new Republic.
To Iban Warrior: Why are you so scared of this TMK? He lives not in your domain, you have your own ‘King’, and he is Taib Mahmud. TMK can never ‘trample’ over your land. He is not your Sultan, he is a Sultan to the Kelantanese. And please know that, even if he becomes the Agong of Malaysia one day, he has no access to rule Malaysia politically. So tell me what are you scared of? Do you even know the history of your forefathers and why they agreed to enter Malaysia? Or are you just shouting for the sake of adding color to this blog discussion?
Next time think before you talk. It shows the level of your mentality and your knowledge of your own history. Do you even understand what an Islamic State is? Go to Kelantan, it is not an Islamic state, but it is governed the Islamic way. Observe the harmonious life of all protected under the government ruled by an Islamic leader. Don’t just listen to your elected BN hypocrites, go to Kelantan and watch with your own eyes. People have been going there and saw the truth themselves. And for your info, Tok Guru Nik Aziz has been living in his same old rumah kayu since 18 years ago. But look at the late Zack Deros the former BN rep, in less time he had already managed to build himself a mansion. Who is a true leader and who is not, you be the judge.
-I’m a Kelantanese-
I think whatever we do always put yourself in the other person’s shoes. How would you like it if you and your children are treated as such in their country of birth? Please learn your history before commenting as we would all be British subjects if we had not come together as one. In any case we need to feel we belong and wanted in this country as much as the next race. The results of the last election tells you as much and anybody with a little bit of brains will say it’s time to really look into our souls and do what it’s right.
Orang Melayu begitu perit menelan kepahitan demi mendapatkan kemerdekaan.
So does this ‘Fakta sejarah’ of giving citizenship to those of us, RBMs(Rakyat Bukan Melayu) be use as a tool to enslave future generations to come?
We are descendents of Pendatangs as some of you would love to call us, we do not asked to be born here if there were choices while inside our mother’s womb that this 50 yr old agreement would be used and used again to ‘enslave’ and be told we’re lesser beings, then our choices would be obvious.
So the question again, does this Fakta Sejarah be use to stop us, RBMs(Rakyat Bukan Melayu) from being ‘Malaysians’?
Bro Sheih,
I am not sure what you are try to tell us about him in your posting, but to me and all other malaysians,we felt hurt and very dissapointed regard his speech at PPM at PWTC last weekend. He need to be told that we,Malaysians, whether our ancestors are Chinese,Indian or lain lian were born in Malaysia .He is still not even born when we achieved Merdeka,so ,advise him to learn more about our history how Tanah Melayu become Malaysia today…sorry to say that.Or just shut his big mouth..

Dear Malaysians,
Please put yourself in the non-Bumi/Malay shoes to understand their ‘problems’.
Banyak bersabar RBM kawan-kawan semua.
Berapa lama masa diambil seorang black nak jadi Pres US?
Berapa lama masa diambil seorang Yunan/ Tibet mau jadi Pres PRC?
Berapa lama masa dimabil seorang native Australian/ New Zealand mau jadi PM A’lia atau NZ?
I’m totally agree with you kickdefella..
thumbs up to your article and salute to Tengku Faris Petra!!!

Teliti dulu baru kecek
Aku tak nampak UMNO bela Melayu. Nak penuh periuk nasi sendiri adalah. UMNO makan Melayu tu paling tepat kalau nak kenal UMNO tu siapa. Di Malaysia ni UMNO nak jadi tuan sapu semua. Bila poket penuh tak tengok bumi lagi, jalan pun membusung dada. Aku datang KL 1978 bergayut naik bas mini. Drebar bas mini pun berani cakap sombong, cerita dia dapat tanah sana sini kerana sokong UMNO. Dekat pilihan raya baru-baru ni sekelompok UMNO asyik bercerita mereka pau taukeh kerana nak cari duit buat belanja pilihanraya. Inilah wajah UMNO. Kemudian lancar Islam Hadhari, penuh stadium bila dikerah datang secara paksa, sedang di masjid/surau saf sembahyang tinggal dua tiga kerat orang tua.
UMNO kena pilih Islam Nabi kalau nak pulih semula. Didik ahli biar hidup berjurus bukannya lapar serakah nak baham projek. Pemimpin tu belajarlah dekati rakyat. Ini dekat pilihan raya mulalah letak kopiah atas kepala (opps songkok) dan sibuk cari kain pelikat konon sanggup tidur sebantal dengan rakyat.
Pemimpin UMNO yang dia tahu sebut pembangunan. Cuba buat kejutan gaji menteri ribu-ribu tu potong biar tinggal dua ribu untuk belanja anak bini. Barulah best.
