Last Friday, The MB of Kelantan, Tuan Guru Dato’ Haji Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat officiated the Chinese Culture and Heritage Festival 2007.
The colourful event was held at the Dewan Perniagaan dan Perindustrian Cina Kelantan. After the opening ceremony, Tuan Guru shows his talent in the Chinese Calligraphy and the also took the honour in giving some final touches to the ‘Singa Batik’.
Tuan Guru also spent almost half an hour touring the hawkers section where Chinese delicacies were on sale.

The Kelantanese Chinese have had easy relations with the Malays for a long time.
My wife is 5th Generation Kelantanese, speaks loghat Kelantan like a true local.
Beware of some of the “other” fellas you quoted earlier….they sure will be back.
Thank you for the pictures. A Tok Guru never had a problem with the Chinese Cultural aspects which includes the “lighting up” the Lion’s eye.
Isn’t Tok Guru showing the way of the proper way Muslims and Islam in relation with the aspects of the day-to-day connectivity between the people of various races and religion? Then how is it that Muslims are not allowed to wish others “Happy Deepavali”?

We often hear about the problems of non-halal food and the majority Malay supporting NEB as the agenda in which not yet finishing. PKR and DAP openly opposing it, how about PAS?

Let God give PAS more opportunities to manage Kelantan…..not UMNO.
